I am so sorry for your loss of Sydney. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. I know you had a special relationship with Sydney that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girls, Bailey and Frappe, found Sydney and they’ve become friends. May the love you shared with Sydney continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Almost 15 years is a lifetime of love, loyalty, and precious memories especially with a dog like Sydney. What a gift it was to have such a faithful companion by our families side through so many seasons of life. With each new family member she accepted every one and from there each family member grew to love her, especially her howls when driving up to the house. A greeting I will miss hearing from the driveway when we visit. Basset hounds have the gentlest souls and the most devoted hearts and Sydney’s was no exception. The quiet moments, the thumping paws following you from room to room, the comfort only they can give. Sydney left paw prints on our hearts forever and she will be missed. I know she is in heaven and loving every second running & playing. She will be there to greet us all one day, and will make her happy welcoming howl as we meet again.

Michele: Sydney grew into her ears, heart and soul and loved you endlessly. Knowing that Rainbow Bridge protects our cherished friends as they wait patiently for their reunion is comforting.
