Lynn... a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Summer is a beautiful girl. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. Kathy 🐶 😼🌈

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Summer. Please find comfort in knowing that Summer is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. I am sure that Summer and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

I am so sorry for your loss of Summer. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Summer that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Summer and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Summer continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at

Lynn: You have created a beautiful memorial page for Summer, the love of your life. It's truly an honor as we walk their lifetime witnessing and exploring, loving and now honoring. Try to mend the tears in your heart by reflecting on a life well lived and I'm gifting a bowl of snow, just one of Summer's passions.

Life is short and sweet. Summer made it sweeter. Even though I never had a chance to meet her, I do believe that she was in heaven right here on earth. Her heaven was being with the Messner family and all the wonderful things that Lynn describes so well. Cherish every moment with Charley and Daisy.

Lovely girl, I knew you through your Mom's Facebook. You are so dearly loved, that I came to love you, too. May the memories of her joyful soul bring you comfort, Lynn.

Dear Summer, you are truly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mom and dad who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Lynn, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Summer is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Jackie, Callie, Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet presence continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Summer will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Jackie at

For sweet Summer, I know that during your lifetime you gave Lynn much joy. Now I am wishing you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what was written for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Summer, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Lynn, I just visited your Summer's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Summer would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Summer. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).
