Your story is almost identical to mine. I had my own Lil Stella. We called her Stella Bella. She was a tiny 5 Lb. Chihuahua, that would make even the grumpiest smile. She will be gone a week tomorrow and it feels like I haven’t seen her in a lifetime. I’m happy for our Stella because she was ill, but it sure does feel like my heart is going to beat out of my chest when I think of her. I’m so very happy you had a Stella in your life as well. She sounds like she was something else. Prayers !

Hi Stella!! What a beautiful bully girl you are! My bulldog, Biff, is there at Rainbow too. Y'all have fun playing there. I understand it is quite beautiful and there are many playmates. I miss by Biff as much as your mama misses you. I cried over him worse than when some relatives passed away, and it looks like your mama cried that bad over you, Stella. You were your mama's everything, and I understand that. It is hard moving forward when we lose you precious babies. Hugs and Kisses from Kansas, little sweet girl. Find Biff and he has been at Rainbow for 6 mos. He will like a new playmate. We will be along soon when our time is up here.

Lisa, I am sorry to know about your "everything", your Stella. What a beautiful story you wrote about her life with you. I know what it is like to not have your "other half" with you. I know how hard you struggle, the pain. When I read your story it made me smile picturing your Stella strutting around with not a care in the world but it also made me very sad for you and thinking of you on this entirely new journey you are on now. Sending you thoughts of much strength in the days that follow. I am truly sorry for your great loss. I do know when you said you have had loss in the past but Stella was the great loss. Many don't understand that. I do.

After reading your sweet and loving memorial about Stella, I wanted you to know I feel a sadness in my heart also over your loss. I also have a dog that went to work with me for 3 years and now that I am retired, she is by my side constantly. I know the feeling of that loss because I have loss some over the years and each and everyone have a special place in your heart with special memories. I do hope, with time, your sadness will lift and perhaps you might have a little more space to have another, as so many are needing good homes like yours.

Dear Lisa, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your precious Stella. The love they have for us is unconditional and it's so painful when they leave us. I hope you find comfort in your sweet memories and know that your love will live on forever. I understand what you say about your connection - sometimes its so much deeper than our connection to humans. It's pure, it's real, it's unconditional love... I hope you can heal your broken heart and know that Stella would not want you to be so sad...Sincerely, Patti

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Stella. Please find comfort in knowing that Stella is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. On 1/3/18 my little cat Zoe passed away. I am sure that Stella and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Lisa, I understand this is a sad time for you I too know the heartbreak of losing a beloved friend and constant companion having lost my beloved Bob Barker on August 28, 2017...so I understand how much you miss Stella. Just remember that it is never really “Goodbye”, just “Until we’re together again”! And I pray that this thought will give your heart comfort and peace in the days to come when you think of your sweet Stella… Now Stella waits for you to sleep at night and dream of her. Her love continues to cross the Rainbow bridge and come to you all the time. My pups and I are sending you very – very special loving thoughts, prayers, positive energy, and petitioning the Universe to ease your heart pain and give you peace in the knowledge that you will see your little one again one day and that for now your sweet Stella is but a dream away… You can visit Bob Barker at: https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BOBBA002/Resident.htm

Stella I am sorry for your loss. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss of Stella. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Stella that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Stella and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Stella continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Dear Stella, you are truly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Lisa, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Stella is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet presence continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Stella will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For sweet Stella, I know that during your lifetime you gave Lisa much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Lisa wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Stella, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Lisa, I just visited your Stella's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious fur angel. I am sure if asked, Stella would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Stella. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).
