I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Starla. Please find comfort in knowing that Starla is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Starla and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Lisa and Gary, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Starla. She was such a beautiful girl and obviously deeply loved. You gave her such a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial ceremony. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Starla will continually provide you with comfort, She will forever live in your hearts and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

When my Bug died, I couldn't help seeing him everywhere, as if in a dark shadow everywhere I looked. I don't know if that happens to you, but if it does; it's ok. See it as a blessing that your beloved friend doesn't want to let you go, either. Soon it will pass. Namaste.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Starla. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I lost my Rocky in March. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Starla is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when she needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope she's met my boys by now.Finn is a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and Rocky is the sweetest gentle giant. If you would care to visit my guys http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Rocky303/Resident.htm

Hello Lisa & Gary, As you begin to reflect on memories of your beautiful Starla Cohen. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Starla Cohen I am sorry for your loss. Lisa and Gary love you and miss you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

Lisa & Gary, It sounds as if you have both had 15 wonderful years with your beloved Starla Cohen. Saying goodbye must be so painful after all that time. Bonds of love will have formed between you that are unbreakable - even though she is not with you in her physical form. Now she is young and strong again - in Heaven - yet closer to you than ever - in spirit - as you talk to her and think of her. You carry her with you for ever - her sweet memory always in your hearts. The special `gift` given to Jeffrey as a pup is with him still. Her physical absence will be hard to bear and you need to give yourselves time to adapt. As one who has been recently bereaved of beloved pet pigeons I can promise you the pain does decrease - and we learn new ways of finding our loved ones - on a spiritual level. The `hole` she has left in your family can never be filled as she is irreplaceable. But in time even this will heal - leaving precious memories that may make you laugh and cry at the same time.

For sweet Starla Cohen, I know that during your lifetime you gave Lisa and Gary much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at the beautiful residency that your family created just for you and reading what was written for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Starla I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Lisa and Gary, I just visited Starla's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Starla would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Starla. Wishing you both all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

Dear Starla Cohen, you are truly cherished. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your family who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Lisa and Gary, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Starla is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your hearts until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Starla will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM
