Skeeter, What a beautiful story of your life here. You have touched so many lives. I know you are busy making new friends there at the bridge but take a moment from time to time and send a sign down there from the bridge, like the song "Seasons In The Sun". I hope even though your mommy cried when she heard it some how, deep inside she felt it was you. Skeeter? You are so very much missed. Will always be so loved and never ever forgotten.

What a beautiful and loving memorial to your Skeeter. I truly believe we will be reunited with all of our departed love ones, including our precious fur spirits. I have owned and loved dogs all my life and it took an abused lab/pit mix to show so much unconditional love and loyalty to us to understand the misconception that folks have about this breed. Please forgive yourself for not knowing what to do. We have all been through that at one time or another and truly it is the humane thing to do for our fur babies. I do hope your sadness will turn into joy, with time, as you remember your precious Skeeter. Blessings.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Skeeter. Please find comfort in knowing that Skeeter is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. On 1/3/18 my little cat Zoe passed away. I am sure that Skeeter and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

Skeeter I am sorry for your loss. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge .

I am so sorry for your loss of Skeeter. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Skeeter that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Skeeter and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Skeeter continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. I am so very sorry to hear about Skeeter. Grateful that you had him in your life and he in yours. They teach us so much about unconditional love. May as you live you remember how he loved and enjoyed bringing love to you and others. God sure knew what He was doing when he gave us these wonderful fur babies to care for and protect.

For sweet Skeeter, I know that during your lifetime you gave your family much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Skeeter, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Skeeter's family, I just visited your Skeeter's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Skeeter would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Skeeter. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

M: What an honor when they walk as part of our lives with us. May tender thoughts of which you've shared on Skeeter's memorial page help you through your journey and preserve the wonderful memories gone by. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of a special friend, one who enriched your life as well as others. Her love for you was in a league all its own. Honor, celebrate and remember the one thing you could not protect her from was TIME. With my deepest condolences, I leave a pull rope to keep you eternally connected as love does not die. Ever. Never let go!
