Linda..a great tribute to a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever paw prints within us.Shamus is now healthy and playing while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care...

Linda, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Shamus and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at:

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Shamus to her new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Shamus the most, listen to your heart, her love is there.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Shamus. Please find comfort in knowing that Shamus is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Shamus, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

Hi Shamus I see you've been at the bridge for a time. You're healthy and healthy. There are fields to explore and meadows to lie in the sun. You have all the treats you can eat and clear cool water to drink. Take a minute and send your mom a kiss on the warm spring breeze. She misses you so much.If you run into a little scrappy cat with big ears, his name is Finnbar. You have a tinsel ball and he has a sparkle ball. Have fun together. But give him a kiss for me. I'm a little lost without him.

Dear Shamus, you are truly cherished! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Linda, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Shamus is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Shamus will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at

For Linda, I just visited Shamus' Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Shamus would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. A little more than a year ago I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Shamus. Losing Pedro taught me that no matter how much time passes, the love we feel for our furbabies is forever. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)

Hello, handsome Shamus. We're sorry we've not visited sooner but we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty who plays in golden sunbeams and chases bright rainbows and colorful meadow butterflies with you. Pressy told us about you and asked her family to visit playmate Shamus. She said you share kitty love headbumps and she taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw when gentle breezes blow. Pressy said you send love signs to tell her you're in Paradise meadow watching over her waiting until she comes for you to cross Rainbow Bridge together forever. Play meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her for she loves you and misses you so. Soar among clouds on silvery angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved baby boy. Pressy's Grandpa
