Scottie's Rainbow Bridge Guest Book

(Return to Scottie's Rainbow Bridge Residency)

My Scotty was a rescue too. God beamed Scotty up to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday, 01/13/21. He got sick so suddenly, we were not prepared to lose him. I look down to the floor and he isn't there anymore. Maybe a full out crying episode might help, but I can't bring myself to that yet, I guess I want to suffer a while longer.

Thank you, Joyce, for your condolences regarding the recent loss of my precious little Lucy, a rabbit. Your Scottie was a beautiful collie. We will have to rejoice in the memory of time we shared together with our pets. God bless.

Scottie - How wonderful you are and keep sending your family those messages! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Joyce know that God has appointed you to be her guardian, protector to watch over her until she is called to join you at the Bridge. To Joyce - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Scottie. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Hello Joyce, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Scottie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane.

Dear Joyce, your words for Scottie are beautiful. What a wonderful blessing that he came into your life and brought such love and happiness. I, too, know the sorrow of saying goodbye to a precious little companion but we must always remember that our babies have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Scottie now plays like a puppy in heaven's most beautiful meadow. My kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Scottie and I am sure they will watch over him and become his good kitty friends. Our babies know that they will be reunited with their earthly families someday. When we cross the rainbow bridge and they come running to greet us, we will be with them forever more. That is part of the absolute joy our Lord has promised us when it's our time to leave this world. I pray that God will bring healing and peace to your heart in the days ahead and always. I understand and care very much. Jane

Dear Joyce,I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Scottie. What a sweet baby. He is the brightest star in the sky. He is truly an Angel , and now is your Guardian Angel watching you from above. He is playing at Rainbow Bridge with all of his new friends . There he will wait patiently for you, until you are together again. I know the loss of our babies can be painful. My thoughts are with you at this time of sadness. Cheryl

Joyce, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that precious Scottie and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at:

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Scottie to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Scottie the most, listen to your heart, his love and paw print are there.

Scottie, you are truly cherished! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mom, Caleb and Penny, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Joyce, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Scottie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at

Hello, handsome Scottie, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind to Mom...signs to Caleb and Penny too! she feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints in her heart forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mom so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom always, beloved Scottie. Pressy's Grandpa
