Diana..A  beautiful tribute to a great friend. Sassy is a beautiful girl. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph, Eva and Hermione while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Sassy. Please find comfort in knowing that Sassy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Diana, what a lovely tribute you wrote for your beloved Sassy. Your comment about dancing in the kitchen made me smile. I used to dance around the house with my dear Butchy Boy. Sassy was certainly a lucky little girl that you adopted her, but it seems you got lucky too. Rest assured Sassy is warm, healthy and happy and no doubt reliving and dreaming about all those great times and adventures she had with you. Her love for you is eternal and yes, you will be re-united one day when the time comes and never to be parted again. Much love Lynne x

I am so sorry for your loss of Sassy. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. I know you had a special relationship with Sassy that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girls, Bailey and Frappe, found Sassy and they’ve become friends. For sweet Sassy, I know that during your lifetime you gave Diana much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Diana wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Sassy, I have two wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends. For Diana, I just visited your Sassy's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Sassy would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing.
