Stepdad is really good with the wire brush and can get those awful knots out of your beautiful, floppy ears - without too much tugging and oulling! And, Puppy, stepmom is really good with those electric clippers and she will give you a super, summer haircut. Just right for a handsome Cav Boy. Happy Birthday in heaven my precious Tino. It hurts me to think about how much time has passed since we celebrated your last birthday. God called you home way too soon, Mom was not ready to say goodbye. Now that Sienna is with you and her birthday is next week, hopefully you together with Cisco, Louie, Benji and all your heavenly playmates will have a special day. Mom met a Cavalier in the doggy park today who attached himself to me and continued to kiss me over and over. I know this was your way of letting me know we will never be apart. Hi little Buddy, Santino! Today, stepdad has brought along his comfy poolside chair and a soft rug. We're just gonna sit together and we can both have a good snooze! Isn't that what 'old dogs' do? Stepdad knows you like to stretch out on a rug, so we'll just lay back and we'll give you agentle neck and shoulder massage while you nap And Puppy, stepdad doesn't even mind if you snore. Our Mr Louie was like a trumpeter when he sslept, but stepdad knows to gently break that cycle - if and when it starts. Much less stressful on our Cav babes! Stepdad hopes you have 'set up' in your Mom's new place, she was looking forward to having all her babes 'back home', ince more! Hi Baby 'Tino (we know that's your Mom's favorite name for you!). Puppy, the new year is well underway already. Time seems to be flying by - so fast. We hope it isn't hectic for you at the Rainbow Bridge. Stepdad thinks the management doesn't allow stressful situations. It would be too hard for all our Cav babes, if they had to deal with stress - without their Mom's & Dad's. We know your Mom has gone back north, so she can be closer to her Angel Pups. She knows your spirits linger there. We're dropping you off a nice filet steak today - stepdad knows how much you love your food and he also knows that anything he (stepdad) would like to eat - any cavalier nearby would just LOVE to join in! My precious little Tino: It is no longer a merry time for Mom since you left us on Christmas Day three years ago. That day will forever be etched in my mind and in my heart. The days of Santino & Sienna were the best days of my life. You made the holidays merrier and everyday brighter. Your sweet little face and bright big eyes would melt Mom's heart and overflow it with joy. Memories of how happy you were playing in the snow, eating x-mas treat and playing with toys will live on forever through my sweet memories of you. Losing you broke our hearts to pieces. Sienna never stopped looking for you, it hurt to watch her sadness. Hopefully, you are together again and Mom will join you all someday, never to part again. My precious boy Tino, I can't believe it's almost three years since we had to part. I remember that day like it was yesterday, December 25, Christmas 2019 after three days in ICU your beautiful little body could not fight any longer. I had hope you would come home that morning, then the phone call. My heart just broke in pieces, I hope I never have to feel that pain again. I still wonder why Christmas Day? Did God want you because you were so special? Losing Aunt Ro in October and you in December broke me. In loneliness, I made a few bad decisions like leaving our home in Cos Cob. All the beautiful memories we shared were made there with Sienna and our family, and of course Cisco. I believe I hurt Sienna by leaving the only home she knew, it hurt me to watch her look for you everywhere. I pray that God is blessing you all with love, peace, happiness and each other. Till we meet again, you are always in my heart. Mom xoxoxo

Stepdad knows that whilst 'Moms' are very sweet and tender, they usually brush cavalier ears - waaay too hard. Stepdad has a super-cool method that can get knots out - without lots of painful tugging. And puppy, I know you like the idea of that!. Love your photo album, puppy, that pic of you smelling the flowers. Your Mom has a pic of your Uncle Cisco, doing the same thing. Sooo beautiful, and of course, you were such a handsome man and stepdad really loves that pic of you, covering your little eyes with your paws. Puppy, what could be cuter than that? My sweet angel pup Tino, there is a saying "time heals all wounds" well when it comes to losing our beautiful Cavalier pup (this is not true). Time will never heal the sadness in my heart everyday thinking about our life together. You and Sienna were my world of course along with Aunt Dee and Aunt Ro. Now that all of you are gone so has the life in me. It is still difficult waking each day and realizing the rest of my life will be less meaningful. However, the angels have gifted me with sweet Carina. She is a hand full, I have forgotten how much work goes into have a puppy. I wish you and Sienna were here to help her along. I know she would have loved you both as much as we ALL do. Bless you my boy, I hope and pray my girl Sienna, and my THREE boyz are all together flying high with angel wings. Babe, just read your Mom's last note to you and it's good that you, Cisco and Sienna found Carina for your Mom, so she isn't alone. She misses her little Angel pups - a lot, and that is so sad. Dearest Tino: It's hard to believe 2 1/2 years have gone by without you. Visiting CosCob and NY recently was a nightmare reminder of how much life has changed from October 2019 through March 2022.Loosing Aunt Ro, then you, selling OUR beautiful home and last loosing sweet Sienna on March 1 of this year. Honestly, it left me feeling empty and lost. After three months of loneliness and sadness, my three angels must have worked on me and pushed me to bring home a little sister. Her name is Carina, she is adorable but very energetic and mischievous.This must be your way of making sure Mom has little time to herself. I realize Mom is now too old and tired to keep up with a pup but I'll find a way.(I have to)! Sweetheart with all of the changes in my life, I still don't know where I want to settle down. Florida is nice eight months out of the year but four months is too hot.You guys would not have liked it. I'm hoping with God's help and my angels above,I will figure it out. Love Always Mom

Hi little buddy, Santino. Babe, stepdad just read your Mom's birthday letter to you. Puppy, it is so sad for your Mom, that she had to go visit your old house. It held so many precious memories of you, Cisco and Sienna. It's strange, because stepdad also feels 'connected' to that old place - all those faces in the trees. It was definitely a 'spiritual' place. Stepdad also knows that you and Sienna used to love the garden, especially that area just beyond the pool where that plant was - the one that had the cluster flowers that hung down like berries. Stepdad knows your spirits still visit there and that's why your Mom was drawn back there. Ohhh, puppy, life can be so cruel.
