Oh I cannot see the picture clearly...so I am not sure what Sam was in life...a doggie or a kitty or? Anyway the love is the same. I am so very sorry Sam had to go. Looks like you have a few good years together. Our babies suffer just as we do when they have to leave us so it is important to keep calling their names to help with the pain of that loss. I sing and talk to my baby every day. He used to love me to sing his favorite song so that is what I do. It connects us and I pray makes him feel better like it does me. They are always with us just in different form. But that spiritual thing we have with them is the magic God gives us special animal people. It lives on and we are privileged enough to have it for a short time in our lies. But the loss is truly devastating. that unconditional love is to be found nowhere else. I will pray you re all happier soon and that God will keep you well and loving your Sam.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Sam. Please find comfort in knowing that Sam is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. For sweet Sam, I know that during your lifetime you gave Virginia much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and at the beautiful residency that Virginia created just for you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Sam, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Virginia, I just visited your Sam's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Sam would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Sam.
