I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Pepper. Please find comfort in knowing that Pepper is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Jack and family of Pepper....Growing up we had Poms and recently I found a photo from 1959 of the first Pom my family had. Those little dogs have a way of worming into our hearts forever. I still tear up over every dog I have said good bye to. Please know you are being held close to my heart during this time of such profound grief and sadness. Hi Jack. That poem and your words say it all. The dream, i hope, put your mind at ease, knowing Pepper no longer experiences pain but is covered by love finding peace over the rainbow bridge. I am sure Peeper took your love along on this new journey This is a difficult time, for sure. Unfortunately, I have had the same experience a few times. It is difficult to let go of our loved ones. But it is a part of life. And the loved ones never truly leave us. They live forever in our hearts and memories. Please accept my sincere condolences concerning your loss.
