Hi Toni. I saw your post on the pet grief forum. I wanted to visit your precious Penny' memorial. So sorry for your loss. I lost my handsome Sammy on January 7, 2019. I have been devastated since then. He was my soul mate and although I have two other dogs and 3 cats, Sammy was always the love of my life. I miss him so, as you miss your Penny. I hope they have met over the Rsinbow bridge and have become good friends. I know in my heart that we will be with them again some day. Toni, I am sorry for the loss of your sweet Penny. Oh yes, she is a good girl with those soulful eyes and a heart of gold. Know she is happy with the other puppies. I'll bet she has met my Murphy who is also a good boy and gave me nothing but love and happiness. He transitioned on 2/7/16 and not a day goes by that I don't think of him.❤🙏

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Penny. Please find comfort in knowing that Penny is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Penny and my babies have all become good friends. I am so sorry that you are suffering through the loss of your furbaby. I have many furbabies at the bridge and I still cry and long for them but there is comfort in knowing that they are in God's hands awaiting for a BEAUTIFUL reunion. I think its one of Gods miracles that the love we share finds its way to heaven and back. I truly believe that every life is precious, every life has meaning and every life has a destiny. No matter how big or how small. Animal and human. We all share this world and this life and our souls are connected. Feel whatever it is you need to feel for as long as you need to. What a sweet and heartfelt memorial to your precious Penny. I love dachshunds and I have a full one named Lucy. They are so different from other dogs, but that unconditional love and loyalty shines through them in many ways towards their human parents. As you can tell, I am a canine lover, but love most animals created by our Creator. I do hope in time your sadness will turn into joyful memories as you remember Penny and maybe another can fill that empty space in your heart. Many Blessings...

Dear Toni - I am so very sorry for the loss of your sweet Penny. What an adorable little girl, and what a beautiful memorial you created for her. Clearly she was (is) loved very much. As a fur mama who has lost many babies (and is facing loosing another soon), I know how very hard this is for you. Please, please know that you are not alone. The Rainbow bridge community is a wonderful place where you can share your stories (and your grief) with people who know what you are going through. I know it hurts so very much to have to say goodbye, but for all the love and joy that they bring to our lives I wouldn't change a thing. Your baby will visit you in your dreams, as mine do and in our dreams they are happy and healthy again. Again I am so very sorry for your loss.
