I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Peko. Please find comfort in knowing that Peko is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Heather and Ross, I loved reading your tribute to dear Peko and his photos. I also visited Zoey's page. They both obviously knew how very much they were loved and cherished and returned their love to you both ten fold. I know the feeling of the quiet in the home, when one of our fur children crosses The Bridge. As you rightfully mentioned, when our time comes, we too can cross that Bridge and I will be running the fastest I ever have, to meet my fur kids with arms wide open and cherish the kisses on my face. For sweet Peko, I know that during your lifetime you gave Heather and Ross much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Peko, I have two wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends. For Heather and Ross, I just visited your Peko's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Peko would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing.
