Carol/Jerry..A  beautiful tribute to a great friend. Patches is a handsome boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph, Eva and Hermione while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. Dear Carol and Jerry, thank you for your tribute to Patches. Your story made me cry. The beautiful spiritual love that you shared with Patches is something many people don't ever get to experience, even with another human. I had that same love affair with Topsy, my best friend, soul mate and daugther. Today is 1425 without her in her 'human form' right by my side. I keep a calendar so that I know that there is now 1425 days left of my life that I dont have to live again without her. My love and thoughts are with you at this time, Lynne x

For sweet Patches, I know that during your lifetime you gave Carol and Jerry much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. For Carol and Jerry, I just visited your Patches' Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Patches would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing.
