Barbara..A beautiful tribute to a great friend. Mickey is a handsoe boy with a great smile. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph, Eva and Hermione while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Mickey. Please find comfort in knowing that Mickey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Barbara, I am so sorry that Mickey has crossed the Big Bridge. You obviously loved him sooo very much and it is awful when any surgery doesn't go to plan. You loved Mickey and he knew that. I am sure he is relaxing with his new friends and brother as they play and roam in the warmth of the Bridge. And I am sure he is enjoying reliving all the memories of the love and great times he shared with you when he was in his 'human body'. My love and thoughts are with you. Lynne x

Barbara: It is with great sadness to learn about the passing of Mickey, the love of your life. Often times complications follow surgery are an unknown, but what is for certain is how your he wanted to be in your lap absorbing your love before meeting up with Rudy (whom I recall when he had crossed over the bridge). For sweet Mickey, I know that during your lifetime you gave Barbara much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Barbara wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Mickey, I have two more wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends.
