Paul..A  beautiful tribute to a great friend. Max is a handsome boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph, Eva and Hermione while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Max. Please find comfort in knowing that Max is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Paul, I am so sorry that Max the Dog has crossed the big Bridge. I did notice you had an Australian flag at the base of his memorial and I am from Kangaroo Island, South Australia. I too know the awful change in routine when one of our family members crosses the Bridge. The home becomes very quiet and as you rightly identify, you keep looking for them in their favourite places. The memories can cause pain at first, but after a while they become treasured thoughts that can bring a smile to your face. My love and thoughts are with you at this time.

For sweet Max, I know that during your lifetime you gave Paul much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Paul wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Max, I have two more wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adaorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends. For Paul, I just visited your Max's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Max would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing.
