What a beautiful story. Sometimes we can chose whom we fall in love with and share our lives. Mariah was so fortunate to feel love. To have a home. What a difference you made for her and please find comfort in that. Love and peace.

Vicky, I'm so sorry for your loss of your precious Mariah. As you cherish every memory, please be comforted and know that your fur-baby is at the Rainbow Bridge meeting many new friends including my Bailey who crossed over to the Bridge on July 29, 2016. The Bridge kids will be with your precious fur-angel in the beautiful Paradise Meadow. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I'm leaving a white rose bouquet for comfort. God Bless...

On: 1/14/20 doesn't matter how long it takes, it took me a year before I could add Oreo. I have visited all of your babies and each one is as beautiful as the next.this is a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Mariah is a beautiful girl and is very lucky to have you as her mom. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..o on the Bridge...she was my first furrie to go onto the Bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss of Mariah. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Mariah that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Mariah and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Mariah continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at

Dear Vicky, Although some time has passed, I know the sadness can remain when we think of our precious ones. I certainly could tell from Mariah's memorial page she was well loved and you felt that, too. I hope, now that time has passed from losing her, the sadness has lifted some and you will continue to receive strength from those good memories you made with her. Blessings, Dianna

Vicky.. what a beautiful tribute to your sweet fur child. I too rescued a dog with as much baggage as your girl. When we finally break though those walls the bond becomes so strong. Please know you are close to my heart as your memories come flooding back.((( hugs)))

What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful pup! Vicky, you and Mariah were destined to be companions and shared a strong bond. That bond goes on forever. Mariah, play hard at the Bridge chasing butterflies and look in on Vicky from time to time.
