I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Laddie. Please find comfort in knowing that Laddie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. I am sure that Laddie and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear John & Lisa, what a touching story about your dear Laddie. You are both wonderful humans to not only take him in but continue with the expense and loving care that no doubt he needed. I am sure he is happy, warm and contented and enjoying reliving all the wonderful memories he shared with you. He had guardian angels watching over him all those years ago and I am sure they are all with him again now. It's awful when they first cross the big bridge; the changes in the daily routines etc., but as you say, no more ill health or seizures for Lad. Much love, Lynne

What a story about Laddie. Bless his heart and may karma come to those that dared hurt him. He sounds like such a great little tyke and a brave warrior. I’m so sorry for your loss. I, too am mourning the loss of my Delilah. I hope they become great friends.

Dearest Lisa and John. When I found Laddie I didn’t think there was much hope for him. He was so severely injured. But, he improved a little, started to eat a little and finally managed to get up and walk a little. We already had four dogs and I wasn’t sure we would be able to care for him. That’s when you came to his rescue. Tom and I had been calling him Lucky and you made his name come true. Lucky became Laddie and he found his forever home. You took him into your lives and and gave him a wonderful life. Thank you for saving him and loving him. You were his very own angels. Love, Beth

I am so sorry for your loss of Laddie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. I know you had a special relationship with Laddie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girls, Bailey and Frappe, found Laddie and they’ve become friends. May the love you shared with Laddie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. My precious Bailey left our world Dec 5, 2013 & our loving Frappe left this world, Dec 5, 2025 and we miss them so much. John and Lisa: Laddie's beginning was not as smooth as one would hope, yet the only memories that your sweet friend will always remember is when you two first met. With enduring acceptance and patience, Laddie received everything and more of what he truly needed. May love continue to shine through your sorrow as you mourn the loss of a very special and courageous soul.

Hello, handsome Laddie, welcome to sunny Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom and Dad feel your loving presence and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come for one to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play happy meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom and Dad always, beloved sweet Laddie. Pressy's Grandpa

No words can express my deepest, deepest sorrow for your loss. Dear Laddie was a true champion in so many ways, and he definitely ran the most hardest of dashes...life itself!! And thanks to his most beautiful, loving, and caring parents, John and Lisa, he was given that most precious chance at having a loving, caring, precious, and wonderful life!! Thank you Laddie for teaching us how to love and care, when others don't. Your life has left an indelible footprint on your parents and others lives, that nobody will ever erase. So, like your mom and dad say...run free my sweet innocent soul, who did not deserve such cruelty to be bestowed on you before your forever family rescued you. You are free of pain and suffering, but the love and innocent impression you bestowed on your dear family will live on forever. Rest fully now. You are at peace and free, and forever in our memory. With a heavy heart but with joy and gratitude...we love you little Laddie!!
