My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

For if the dog be well remembered, if sometimes she leaps through your dreams actual as in life, eyes kindling, laughing, begging, it matters not where the dog sleeps. On a hill where the wind is unrebuked and the trees are roaring, or beside a stream she knew in puppyhood. It is one to a dog, and all one to you, and nothing is gained and nothing lost-if memory lives. But there is one best place to bury a dog. If you bury her in this spot, she will come to you when you call-come to you over the grim, dim frontiers of death, and down the well-remembered path and to your side again. And though you may call a dozen living dogs to heel, they shall not growl at her nor resent her coming, for she belongs there. People may scoff at you, who see no lightest blade of grass bent by her footfall, who hear no whimper, people who have never really had a dog. Smile at them, for you shall know something that is hidden from them. The one best place to bury a good dog is in the heart of her m

Hi Dennis, I didn't realize how very furry bearded collies are. Truly an adorable breed. It's almost hard to believe they aren't a big shedding breed. It's wonderful that you had that long loving relationship with Jessie Lee. I hope you get a new furbaby who brings you that joy again that no one but true animal lovers understand. As long as I've known you and hope to know you, I wish for you a new furbaby to love and make you as happy as Jessie Lee did. I'm here if you ever need me. ILYMTYK

Dennis, I am so very sorry that Jessie Lee had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that Jessie Lee and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that Jessie Lee does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Jessie Lee, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM

Hello Dennis, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Jessie Lee. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

Dear Dennis, little Jessie Lee is so beautiful and what a wonderful blessing that you were together so many years. My Inky was born the same year as Jessie Lee and went to the rainbow meadow earlier this year. I know the sorrow you feel for both of my kitties left for the meadow two weeks apart after blessing my life for many years. I will tell my Inky and Bubba Lou to find Jessie Lee and they will play in heaven's sunshine until we are reunited with them at the bridge someday. May all of your memories bring healing to your heart and may God bless you always with comfort and peace. I understand and care.

Jessie Lee - Your picture portrays kindness, love, and companionship! You have left all who knew many fond memories! Send them some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Dennis know that God has appointed you to be the guardian, protector to watch over him until he is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Dennis - I send my sincere sympathy to you over the loss of Jessie Lee. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

From: Pressy's Family

Hello, precious Jessie Lee, welcome to the forever sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Dad loves and misses you so...he made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Dad feels your loving presence with him and special kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for him until he comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask he not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in his heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Dad so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him too and are with him. Soar among clouds on silvery angel wings to watch over Dad always, beloved Jessie Lee. Pressy's Grandpa

Jessie Lee, you are so gorgeous! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your dad who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Dennis, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Jessie Lee is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

Dennis, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Jessie Lee and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again.
