“God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your sweet Huckleberry Hound, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this first Holiday Season without your beloved furbaby. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of all your beloved fur-angels bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angels would want for you this season. Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, Momma, DJ & Patches mom)

We are so very sorry to hear of Huck's passing. He was an awesome dog. We almost adopted him before you guys did. I remember the adoption event at Bests Fruit Stand (now Library). Sam and I fell in love with him. He was a very special boy. So glad he had you both. You gave him so much love. RIP Huck...you will be missed! Love, Barb, Sam and Emma

Dear Marilyn and Bill, I was so very sorry to hear that dear Huck had passed and how sad you must be. He was quite a character and I remember him well at the PAL adoptions and specifically at a training session, where the instructor stepped on his tail and he let out a howl! He was a sweetheart and everyone who came into contact with him loved him immediately. I hope all of your memories of time spent with Huckleberry Hound will help you get through this very sad time. Linda x

My dear sweet Huckleberry.....you were my favorite out of all the furry friends your mom and dad adopted. May you rest in peace and know that you'll be missed. Dogs come into our lives, leave paw prints on our hearts, and we are forever changed.

Dear Marilyn and Bill, your beautiful eulogy to Huckleberry Hound brought tears to my ears. Huckles was a very special dog! I'll never forget what a handful (PITA?!) he was a adoptions! Boisterous and LOUD...but what a great, fun, lovable friend that always brought a smile to my face. I always knew he was in good hands in your home. I know he was spoiled and doted upon. What more could a dog ask for?? He lived a long and wonderul life with lots of dog and cat friends, and lots of love. Heaven on earth. Be at peace knowing that even now, he is once again surrounded by lots of dog and cat friends, and lots of love. Thinking of you during this sad time. Alexandra, Sean, Hickory, and Meadow

Dear Marilyn and Bill, I am so very sorry to read about the loss of your precious Huckleberry Hound. He sounded like quite the character. The tribute to him shows all the love you all shared. You were so blessed to be in each others lives. I hope that the sadness you are feeling now will be replaced by all the good memories of times shared together. Take care.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Huckleberry. Please find comfort in knowing that Huckleberry is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Huckleberry and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan
