"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved HoCheez bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Debra, my condolences on the loss of your beloved HoCheez. It is so very hard when our fur children pass. They are a part of us and the hole they leave behind when they've gone to The Bridge is huge. My sweet dog, Chili, went to The Bridge on April 29, just two weeks after HoCheez. I am devastated and think of her everyday, as I know you think and cry for your sweet baby. Please know that I am thinking of you during this sad time and understand you sorrow. I hope we both find some comfort in our sweet memories of our special furangels over this holiday season. Warm regards, Lauren

oh debra I so feel your pain and guilt I just lost my baby lucy [also a pug]4 days ago and the pain is so bad and the whole in my heart feels like it will never heal, but I know from loosing my pom of 20 years it does get easier but not a day goes by that you don't think of them or always see or hear something that reminds you of them. my lucy never had a health problem in 8 years and just the other day she was out playing in the yard and when I went to get her in she was laying there almost gone I did cpr and got her back rushed her to the vet he gave her some meds said her heart was enlarged came home she was fine through the night next day spike a fever of 104.5 rushed her back to the vet they did an ultrasound and said a valve in her little heart had ripped put her on heart meds. said she would be on it the rest of her life I said ok.the vet wanted me to leave her there for a couple hours until the fever broke.20 minutes later got a call she was gone.i feel so guilty for leaving.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of HoCheez. Please find comfort in knowing that HoCheez is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that HoCheez, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hello Debra, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful HoCheez. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Mom, Hocheez was an amazing dog. We all miss him so very much. It hurts me so much to see andknow how badly you are hurting. You were the best dog mommy to him and he had a very happy life full of lots of love. He will never be forgotten and could never ever be replaced. I will always love my misters so very much. I already miss watching him go swimming, chewing on him blanky, giving me high fives, and of course his adorable snoring. I hope you can focus on these amazing memories so that your heart will start to heal. Love you mommy!

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Debra, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful HoCheez and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. For HoCheez, you are a handsome boy! Your mom loves and misses you so much, please keep an eye on her and send her a sign to let her know you are ok. Dear Debra, I am deeply sorry for your loss, my thoughts & prayers are with you. It is never easy losing our beloved pets, they give our lives so much love and joy. HoCheez may be gone from sight, but he is never really gone, his memories will forever be shining so brightly in your heart. It's not good bye, it's I'll see you later. HoCheez was a gift from God who has been called home, when your time comes to make that journey he'll be there waiting for you. For sweet HoCheez, I know that during your lifetime you gave Debra much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Debra wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. HoCheez I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Debra, I just visited HoCheez's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, HoCheez would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Last January I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss HoCheez. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
