I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Gunner. Please find comfort in knowing that Gunner is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Leddie, looking at the dates on Gunner's memorial it looks like he only had such a short life - or maybe you adopted him only a few months ago. Either way, I am so sorry he has crossed the Big Bridge. I am very glad that in the short time you two were together that he made such an impact on your life that you have written some short but beautiful words with much meaning. For sweet Gunner, I know that during your lifetime you gave Leddie much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Leddie wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Gunner, I have two wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends.
