I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Dear Marilyn, I am so sorry that Grit-Grat (GG) has crossed over the big Rainbow Brige, but my goodness he won't be lonely with all those other brothers and sisters and his Daddy. I too have always had lots of dogs - they are my fur children. I currently have 7, after Buzzy B Bear crossed the Bridge just 13 weeks ago - very unexpectedly. I am 100% sure GG knew just how much he was loved. I loved looking at all the photos and the big smiles on their faces when they were younger. As you rightly said, it is only a temporary good-bye, until we take our turn to cross the Big Bridge too. Look after yourself and those beautiful fur children still in your care, much love, Lynne x

I am so sorry for your loss of Grit-Grat. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. I know you had a special relationship with Grit-Grat that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Grit-Grat and they’ve become friends. May the love you shared with Grit-Grat continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Marilyn: It is with great sorrow to learn about the passing of your sweet Grit-Grat. So strong, courageous, and the love for you was in a league of its own. Beyond the clouds and over the rainbow are your other fur babies anxiously awaiting to reunite with Grit-Grat and what a reunion it shall be. May you feel their eternal love for endless years.

Hello, handsome Grit-Grat, welcome to sunny Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Your family loves and misses you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to help welcome you and be a playmate to chase bright rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so your family feels your loving presence and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now another guardian star shining brightly until they come for you to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints in their hearts forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at your family so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over your family always, beloved sweet Giggy. Pressy's Grandpa

For sweet Grit-Grat, Although I know that your Mom and siblings love you very much and you will be missed every minute of every day, you will now and forever never be alone as you have joined your family that have gone before you to heaven. Hopefully, you will meet up with my two Fur Angels Pedro and Keshet and you all will become the very best of friends. For Marilyn, I wish we could sit down and talk and you could share with me the secret of how you cope with losing so many of your beloved Fur Babies and still keep adopting more. When I lost my Keshet in January I decided that it was just too painful losing them so I made the decision to live alone. It helps that I feed many cats who live free outside. Sending you a huge Rainbow hug, God Bless you and keep you. Rosalind

Dear Grit-Grat, how precious you are! Please go to the Bridge and send your sweet love down the Rainbow into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much and she'll be sure to send her love back to you on angels' wings. Dear Marilyn, your beloved Giggy is now with all of your precious fur babies at the Bridge and is watching over you with so much love. May Giggy's sweet presence fill your heart and home with love, peace and comfort until the day dawns when you're together again, and may your memories bring you healing. Rainbow blessings, Clare
