I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Geirueisu. Please find comfort in knowing that Geirueisu is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Laura, I am so sorry that your Geirueisa has crossed over the big Bridge. Yes, at these times it does seem like life is too hard to bear without them by your side. My daughter, best friend and soul mate Topsy crossed that Bridge in January 2022 and I keep a calendar to know how many days we have been apart - days that I never have to go through again without her. Today is day 1495. You will learn to make a new life but I understand the emptiness that you feel. Take some comfort in knowing that Geirueisu is warm, happy and comfortable and probably enjoying reliving all the wonderful memories of the life you provided. Much love, Lynne x
