I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious guinea pig fur-baby. They make beautiful paw-prints on our hearts forever. Please know your baby is at the Rainbow Bridge enjoying the beautiful Paradise Meadow with many new friends including my IddyBear-Bailey and Sophia Angel. Sending prayers for comfort.

Dear Melanie, your story about Dixie made me cry. The fact that you honour your girl ten whole years after she crossed the Bridge, resonated with me. My daughter, best friend and soul mate Topsy was put to sleep on 4th January 2022 and like you, I love all my fur children but you and I have been lucky enough to find 'the one'. Having said that, the grief for 'the one' is almost unbearable for such a long time. I keep a diary for Topsy and today is day 1664 since I cuddled her. That way I know it is 1664 days that I dont have to live again without her. Thank you for creating Dixie's memorial, love Lynne xx

Melanie: Sweet Dixie brought so much into your life in a brief period of time; how fortunate you were...Of course, if she could have lived forever, it still would have not been long enough. It was very thoughtful to honor this special soul and compose a memorial page filled with everlasting memories.

Hello, pretty Dixie. We're sorry we've not visited sooner but we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty who welcomed you to Paradise meadow and chases colorful butterflies with you. Pressy told us about you and asked her family to visit playmate Dixie. She said you play among clouds and colorful rainbows and she taught you to send love signs on the wind so Melanie feels your loving presence with her when gentle breezes blow. Pressy said you send love signs to tell Melanie you're in Paradise meadow watching over her waiting until she comes for you one day to cross Rainbow Bridge together forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Melanie so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her for she loves you deeply and misses you so.
