I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Delilah. Please find comfort in knowing that Delilah is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Ed and Chel, what a gorgeous girl Delilah was (and still is). Chel, I do have some understanding of how great your grief is. My daughter, best friend and soul mate Topsy was put to sleep on 4th January 2022. I keep a calendar of all the days we have spent without her in her "human" body and today is no. 1458 - 1458 days that I dont have to relive without her at my side. I too sleep with her ashes on my bedside table and I too have a toy version of Topsy made in her likeness. To create a new life, which is so very lonely, without the spiritual life partner by your side is incredibly difficult. Just know that across the other side of the world is someone who feels and understands your pain. Much love, Lynne xx

For sweet Delilah Grace, I know that during your lifetime you gave Ed and Chel much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Delilah Grace, I have two wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends. For Ed and Chel, I just visited your Delilah Grace's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Delilah Grace would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my two little dogs Pedro and Keshet I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you miss Delilah Grace. Ed and Chel: A poodle truly is a human with four legs, luscious curls, amazing intelligence and likely the favored family member. Delilah Grace will be remembered for her courageous spirit and athleticism. She was determined to never leave your side, and it was your selflessness that allowed her to journey to the Bridge in peace. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this painful time which I am so deeply sorry. A cyber vase filled with little curly flowers will always remind you of her hair.
