"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Cotton, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your very heart, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this special season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty & DJ's mom)

I am so sorry to hear about your recent loss of Cotton. Please find comfort in knowing that Cotton is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Cotton and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

I was with Cotton's Mommy the day she was adopted, this little bitty ball of black fur. She was such a part of all of our lives. She was a little sister to my cockapoo Candy, who is playing (& eating)with Cotton now, and she was a big sister to my cockapoo Charly, who was (& always will be)crazy about her! Cotton taught Charly the ropes. I remember the snowball she caught, her "love" of squirels and many other memories. She loved "decorating" with toilet paper when she was little. I think it ws her first Christmas and we were all worried about her with the tree, but she did the cutest all of the stuffed animals from the 2nd floor and put them around the tree. She was very proud of herself and it was adorable (and very smart, too). When my Candy went blind, Cotton is the one who first figured it out. She was very special and I will miss her terribly.

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

To precious Cotton, a new little doggie angel at the Rainbow ... I can just see you now with your new angel wings, floating on the clouds watching over your family back here. And I just know by now you've had a chance to look around for the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored naps, haven't you... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that your family have actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of the Angels...what more could your family have ever wished for you? What more could they have ever wished....from Dusty's mom

Cotton, What a sweet and loyal baby you were to your mommy. You gave her so much, the uncondtional love in which you provided was more than she could dream of having!!! She misses you terribly and can't wait to hold you again. I know that you don't want her to be sad for too long, but instead, happy. For you are happy, content and at peace. You have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl. Watch over each other, sweet baby until it is our time to be reunited with you both. Deborah, I extend my deepest condoloences to you for the loss of Cotton. I know how painful it is to have lost your angel, for I too, lost mine. Please visit my Shayna Girl at: My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna Girl's mommy, Lisa

Cotton, please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Deborah, your world has lost a very special furperson, and heaven has gained a very special soul. Cotton is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as BG is watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Clare & Martha....Please visit BG at
