Dearest Gary and Pannee. What a beautiful tribute to Cognac! He was so loved and still is. I am sure the past 2 years have been difficult, but take comfort knowing he is comfortable and happy and is with you everyday.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Hey Cognac-I'm looking at a picture of you and Bob ready to take a ride in the golf cart-who enjoyed it more You or Bob?We go back a long way to the afternon on Mac's patio looking for the right name and VIOLA-COGNAC it was.You welcomed us each weekend-came over for treats andjust hung out. What a good swimmer and boater you were. You and I are July babies and I have your cards signed with your paw prints and addressed to Godmother-they are in my keeper box.You were the best behsved boy thanks to Gary's training and the best groomed and sweetest smelling b oy thanks to Pannee. We know how you miss your "ALPHA BOY" dear friends and we thank you for sharing him with us. He was and always will be much loved and missed. We also miss you friends and look forward to talking with you soon. Carol and Bob

A Christmas Promise A promise to the Animals of Rainbow Bridge How nice it would be to visit you on this Christmas eve. How clear the Christmas star would be from your Celestial home. So many friends I want to see, and many from long ago. We could visit the animals from Manger square, and many more we know. If I am chosen - one day - to cross the bridge to you, there will never be another Christmas that I won't share with you. Written for Jake Childers December 22, 2007 Gloria Jean Childers

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful boy. I know nothing anyone says can make the loss any less painful, but there are a lot of people here who share your grief. Wishing you comfort and peace, Julie (Nala, 10/18/07)

Cognac was so busy in his lifetime..loving Gary and Pannee and jazz music.....he was pure of Soul...and, reminded us to focus on the simple things....a kind word, a loving look..he could care less what people looked like or what they wore...to him everyone was there to be loved -- and, he surely loved Gary and Pannee -- please find comfort in this Holiday Season----he worked very hard to love and please you and delighted in your company. He'd always look at you with those beautiful steadfast eyes and, he was rewarded by your devotion to him..So, in the rush of this Holiday Season we wish -- that we all take the time to notice the love that these wonderful creatures bring to our lives..and, how they represent the true meaning of Christmas....hugs, Chuck, Kathy, Dexter Falls and Ralph Crampton...2007.12.24

We think we know how you feel. In our 50 years of marriage, we have buried many of our "babies". They meant so much to us. When we see their pictures even today we cry.

A few years ago, we to lost our beloved cat(Pumpkin)she bwas sunning herself on a small retaininf wall along side of our driveway-we left for a few minutes and she was gone when we returned. We believe a large black bird carried her off. We searhed the area where the birds nested, but never found her. We can share your loss. Margie & Ted Kontos

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your baby. I've had to have several of my babies put down also, so I know how very hard it is. I believe our babies know we will always carry them in our hearts. And if we do happen to get another baby (as most of us do) they know it's because they taught us how to love, and it makes them smile. ((hugs)) Karen If you would like, you can visit my baby at-http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CALLI012/Resident.htm
