I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Chester. Please find comfort in knowing that Chester is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Martin..A  beautiful tribute to a great friend. Chester is a handsome boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph, Eva and Hermione while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. Dear Martin, the love you had (and still have for Chester) has jumped right out of the screen and into my heart. Please dont feel bad about your broken promises. Chester KNEW how much you loved him and did for him and I am 100% sure that you are right - the convulsions when at the vet clinic was him saying "Ive had enough - these people can help me. Please let them". Just know that he is safe, warm, healthy and happy and no doubt dreaming of the wonderful long life you enabled him to have. Yes, you will all be re-united one day, never ever to be parted again. My love and thoughts are with you. Lynne

I am so very sorry for the loss of Chester. He sounds like a wonderful, sweet boy much like my own cat. You didn’t let Chester down, you did what was best for him at that time. Be kind to yourself, Chester would want that.

Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. I know you had a special relationship with Chester that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girls, Bailey and Frappe, found Chester and they’ve become friends. Hello, handsome Chester. We're sorry we've not visited sooner...we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the old gray lady kitty who helped welcome you to Paradise meadow and chases butterflies with you. Pressy asked her family to visit playmate Chester. She said you trade kitty headbumps and she taught you to send love signs on the wind so your family hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. Pressy said you send love signs to tell your family you're in Paradise meadow watching over them waiting patiently until they come for you one dayto cross Rainbow Bridge together for all time. Play happy meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at your family so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them for they love you deeply and miss you so.
