Sad day, but so many happy memories of your baby C.C. My favorite memories are the times she greeted me in the motor home with whimpers, trembles and hugs!

Hey Cuz - I don't think I will every forget the sadness in C.C.'s eyes...and yours. My heart broke for both of you. But I'm ever grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to be there with you both. She was by far one of the best dogs I have ever known. I know she's singing in Heaven and missin' her Gene.!!

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel C.C., the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this Holiday season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Gene, What a beautiful gift C.C. left you. Fifteen wonderful years of memories. Hold tight to them, those memories, as painful as they seem now, will bring much joy and special smiles to your broken heart. C.C. is all around you, close your eyes and you will feel her presence. My Cody Lynn, passed 10/16/07, I know she and C.C. are together watching out for us. Prayers and love coming your way during this difficult time. God Bless-- Peggy Kramer

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I'm Gene's sister-in-law. I spent minimal time with C.C.; seeing her once or twice a year. But the first time I met her, it was as if she knew I was family. She cuddled her face in my neck, and whimpered and "hugged." I was so touched & flattered. She continued doing that every time I saw her--until recently, when she was so weak. But she always knew her Aunt Julie. She was my puppa-luppa, and I loved her. I've never met a more devoted, intelligent and well-behaved dog. Hell! How many dogs don't need a leash! She was so devoted to her daddy, and he was just as devoted to her. Such a pair you don't often see! It was a treat to watch them together. My heart aches for my dear brother-in-law, but if all animal lovers in the world were like him, this world would be SO much more a better place. I love you & miss you, my C.C. Puppa-Luppa. My comfort is that Gene was your Daddy, - Aunt Julie

Welcome to the Bridge! I know you're busy making friends, romping around playing, and laughing so hard you just can't stand it, but don't forget to take the time to let your family know you're okay and thank them for the wonderful life they gave you...

C.C. - What a great lady you were and how loyal to your dad! Send him some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let him know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Gene know that God has appointed you to be his guardian, protector to watch over him until he is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Gene - I send my sincere sympathy to you over the loss of C.C. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown
