Dear Alexis, I am so sorry that little Button has crossed the Big Bridge. I note she was so very young. I am glad she entertained you and gave you so much love. I am 100% sure you gave all that love right back to her and she knew it. I bet that every day, in her dreams she romps and plays with you and is forever grateful that you chose her. It is so hard to go on when they cross the Bridge, and memories are painful, but one day, when you smile when you remember her antics, you will slowly begin to heal. I am so sorry for your loss of Button. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. I know you had a special relationship with Button that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girls, Bailey and Frappe, found Button and they’ve become friends. May the love you shared with Button continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Baby Butt my little fluff ball, dada loves you so much! You were my first puppy ever and I had no idea what to expect but I fell in love with every little thing you did. You made mommy so happy and I couldn’t wait to come home everyday and see you dancing at the back door and her smiling. You were the most loving and adventurous pup, whether on the beach or in the snow nothing could slow you down. We are so lucky to have spent the time we had with you and I’m heartbroken we didn’t have longer. I’ll never forget our last adventure at Sandy Hook, watching you climb up and down the ice bergs and walk across the ice and under the bridge with mommy, we’ll always remember you like that our crazy forever puppy. We will see you again one day and I can’t wait to dance with you at the back door in heaven my fluffy love.
