Hi little Miss Buttons! What a beautiful cat you are! Your mama made a lovely memorial for you, and I was reading about you (lovely story). I lost my Biff (bulldog) several months ago, and I still miss him and cry for him. I look at memorials when I am sad, and it helps. All of these creatures are so beautiful and precious....and I see that I am not alone in my heartbreak when people lose their loved ones. Have fun playing at Rainbow, Miss Buttons. I can't wait to meet you there myself.

Thinking of Buttons and your baby Skippy. So very sorry for your loss of two babies in such a close period of time. I have just suffered a loss myself. Tomorrow will be one week since my Baby Bee crossed the bridge. I stumbled on this sight seeking for answers of how to process my grieving. I have found it helpful to know that I am not alone. You are not alone with the conditions with Skippy. The same thing happened to me with my dads dog (i took my dads dog when he passed). I had no idea she was sick, very sick. I have seen thousands of dogs, puppies (i was a foster mom for 9 yrs. for dogs) how could I miss this? I lost Lillie that day at the vet. office. She had cancer. She was skin and bones and all I saw was a beautiful dog that was my dads baby. So your not alone and you were a great mommy to both your babies. I can see that in the stories you told. Your babies ruled the house. I love it! I left yarn as there is no roll of toilet paper.

Jeannette, Once again I have the privilege of writing to you not only for Skipper but for her dear friend, Miss Buttons - now passed to Heaven. You do indeed rejoice with her that she is now healed of the cruel cancer that destroyed her body. But your heart is broken into even more pieces losing both precious cats so close together. We, as believers, still need to grieve. Jesus told us the bereaved are in a blessed state because they shall be comforted. Registering your loved ones at Rainbow Bridge is all part of the healing process - which Christians need as much as those with apparently no faith in God or in Heaven. We do have the advantage, however, of joy and peace in believing and of a sure hope of Heaven and a joyous reunion with all those who love God: and especially with our own fur-children - who wait for us in a Light so bright our eyes are unable to see them - till we cross the Bridge - where we will live pain and age free - as our Creator God intended - never to part again.

I'm so sorry I put the wrong name in my note, Sissy. It's Buttons who is your beloved fur-angel, and I pray that your special memories will truly be of comfort in your grief. She is so beautiful and precious!

So sorry for the loss, of your furbaby, it is always hard to lose a good friend. May your days of pain and adjustment be short, and your memories of your baby bring you peace and love. No more pain or suffering for our furbabies, only sunshine and lots of new friends. Soon you will all be together again and going over the rainbow together, which is where your lives’ really begin

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Buttons. Please find comfort in knowing that Buttons is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Buttons and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Jeannette- I've placed a wicker chair at Rainbow Bridge to represent those first few moments discovering precious Buttons (in your yard) and voicing how much she needed you. May those years you had shared bring a gentle tear to your eye and a smile to your lips. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your best friend and companion. I've added a cozy bed to her resting place at Rainbow Bridge.

Jeannette, I am sorry for the loss of your little angel Buttons. She came into your know for a reason. She knew that you would love and care for her. In return, she showed you how much she appreciates all that you have done for her with her unconditional love. That bond will never be broken. Even though she left her fur suit behind, she is with you now in spirit and in your heart.

Buttons I am sorry for your loss. Jeannette loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss of Buttons. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Buttons that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Buttons and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Buttons continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Dear Buttons, you are purrfectly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Jeannette, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Buttons, along with Skipper, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Buttons and Skipper will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM
