From: Laurie and Michael
On: 2/13/12

I just had to write to wish you well. My husband and I lost our baby, Cheyenne,an American Bull Terrier 4 years ago. We also have owned many fur babies but there is always that "one" that no other can EVER replace, they just help to lessen the pain.I came on here today because my friend is putting her baby to sleep today and it has kicked up so many memories. Just wanted to connect with some folks that share their love for animals as much as I do. Take care, Laurie

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Bullet, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us. And may you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... May each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this blessed season.... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Jim & Peggy, My deepest sympathies go out to both of you. I know the pain you are going through because they are like our children. They give us so much happiness in the time they are with us though that we have so many happy memories to eventually help ease the pain. Bullet was one of a kind and he will be greatly missed by all.

Welcome to the bridge Bullet...how are you today? You are going to make many friends at the bridge & there's so much for you to do. You get to play ball & take long naps in the sun. Isn't that great? Make sure you send your mommie & daddy lots of smooches so they know you are OK. You are so loved & missed so very much. Your mommie will hold your last look you gave her close to her heart. You were telling her how much you loved her with that look. To Jim & Peg...we are sorry for your loss. Hold your memories close to your heart until you see your precious Bullet again. This site has a wonderful PETLOSS CHATROOM if you would like to talk about your loss. There are people in the room starting around 5pm EASTERN time. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/COLE002/resident.htm

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Jim and Peg, I'm so sorry about Bullet. I cried when I read his story. I to have lost a loving pet of 13 years to cancer. I swore I would never have another pet so I would not feel that pain again. However, my son came home a month later with our beautiful bully Sasha. She comforted me through my pain and now has brought new meaning to my life. She has brought knowledge to me about the abuse her brothers and sister have faced all over the world. Now I'm trying my best to fight for all animals who have no home or abused. God closes one door and opens another for one reason or another. Thank you for having Bullet watch over me during my journey to help save Gorilla. God Bless you for all the love in your heart for your animals and also for helping save Gorilla.

Dear Peggy & Jim; I am so sorry to hear about Bullet. I can just imagine how devastated you both must be. Losing someone you love so much, whether it be human or your loving pet, is never easy. We have both been through it. I will never forget the day Peggy came over and told me about her Mother's passing. Just remember one thing...I have learned with Bing's passing in 2007, that you never actually get over the loss, you must learn to live without them. Tears stream in the beginning, but years go by and you cherish the memories. Although you are still very sad, you will be able to tell about the great qualities in that loved one with a small smile on your face. I know I do. I also lost Rosco from Liver Cancer last April and still miss he and Bing so much. I'm sure since you've had dogs for so long you will never find another with the same qualities that you so desire to be in them, that was in the one you lost. My sincere sympathy to both of you! Best Regards, Marsha

I am so sorry for your loss. Your story touched me so that I started to cry. Joshua went through the same symptoms and he left us quietly in the middle of the night last April. Never a day goes by that we don't think of him and miss him. I know that you will experience the same feelings and I pray that the peace and grace of the Lord is upon you to help you through that difficult time. Blessings.............
