I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Buddy Bear. Please find comfort in knowing that Buddy Bear is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Buddy Bear and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Buddy Bear, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us. And may you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... May each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this blessed season.... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Dear Bruce & Melina, I have had you in my thought s and prayers many times over the past couple of months. In the time that has passed since Buddy Bear's passing I imagine you have had many opportunities to bond with Bella - in a new way. Would love to hear more about how your family in New England is doing. Thank You for the adorable Christmas Card with both Buddy & Bella. Your puppies reflect the heart of their Mom & Dad. Warmly, Melissa

I cried when reading your tribute to Buddy Bear. I can fully relate to your loss and what you still must be going through. I had a loss similar with my Pom, 8 yrs. ago. They say time heals I don't think so...the loss I still keep carrying like an old wound in my heart. It will never be healed. I have 2 Poms now, but 'Chudnee' was a one-of-a-kind. Hopefully my Pom has welcomed Buddy Bear. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. xx

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I am so sorry at the loss of your sweet dog, and I was so fortunate to be able to meet him and even see him dance! He had a very special gift, and helped so many people. God bless you both for opening your home to this wonderful dog. Love you!

Marilyn & Bruce, Words cannot provide enough comfort for the loss of a special family member. Buddy Bear was a wonderful addition to the family and will not be soon forgotten. Remember all of the wonderful things that he brought into your life & the memories will provide you with the comfort that you need during this hard time. We cry with you for your loss & know that Buddy Bear is not suffering any more (heaven is surely a wonderful place for him now). Much love & condolences, Keith, Phyllis & Bryan

Marilyn, we are heartbroken. We have tears in our eyes. We can’t believe he is gone. He was so full of life when we last saw him, the day after the hafla. Thank God Pat and Heather left some things behind that we retrieved at your home because that gave us an opportunity to see him one last time. Seven years is such a short life for a dog or cat. It’s too bad he didn’t have many more years. Perhaps, since he only had seven years, he was placed into your hands so that his short life would be so rich and full of love and attention. We should all be grateful that he had you. You gave him twenty years of love in the short time you had him. God bless Buddy. We will all miss that precious little dog.

We’re going to miss seeing Buddy Bear’s smile. He was such a treat to see and he loved to share his happiness with everyone. That’s what happens when a dog is loved.

I will miss seeing him all dressed up for Halloween. Buddy Bear, we know you came to Marilyn and Bruce for a reason and you have left them so soon for a reason.... The only thing I can think is that you know there is some other dog out there who needs their love as much as you did. You will never be far from all of our hearts. Bless you dear Buddy Bear for all you gave to so many!
