We recently lost Eve; also a Ridgeback. So loving, fun and smart. Sounds like Eve and Brooklyn might be hanging around; romping somewhere. I know Eve would be thrilled having that ability. Sorry for your loss.

“God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your sweet Brooklyn, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this first Holiday Season without your beloved furbaby. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved fur-angel bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this season. Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, Momma, DJ & Patches mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hello Cheri, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Brooklyn. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Hello, handsome Brooklyn, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mom so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom always, beloved sweet Brooklyn. Pressy's Grandpa

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Brroklyn. Please find comfort in knowing that Brooklyn is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Brooklyn and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Cheri I'm sorry for the loss of your Brooklyn. What a beautiful guy. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Brooklyn is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope he's met Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm

What a lucky dog. You gave him the best life for his time here. We should all be that fortunate. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. He's up there playing with Poppy and Gram and my fur babies! Love you always.

Brooklyn beautiful dog. I am sorry for your loss. Cheri loves and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge in 2011 when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge. Toni

Dear Brooklyn, you are truly gorgeous. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mom who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Cheri, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Brooklyn is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Brooklyn will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For sweet Brooklyn, I know that during your lifetime you gave Cheri much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Cheri wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Brooklyn I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Cheri, I just visited Brooklyn's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Brooklyn. I am sure if asked, Brooklyn would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little boy Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Brooklyn. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
