To Boots: I read your story your mommy and daddy wrote about you. They were so lucky to have found you. You gave them so much as they gave you. Somehow let them know that it was just your time to leave and they took such wonderful care of you and you love them for that. I am sure you are having a great time with all your brothers and sisters. Playing and running around whole again. Until mommy and daddy see all of you again let them know that if they just touch their hand to their chest, that is where you all are, living in their hearts.

Dear Bill and Marilyn- your memorial page for your friend Boots is awesome! Thank you for the chance to learn about your life together. I know it can be so sad and lonely when our pets die. I hope that you'll remember Boots fondly, just as you do your other guys, and that the happy times will keep Boots close by to you until you meet again. -Megan, with Dexter "Big Essie" and Rinchen in Philadelphia

Marilyn & Bill, my condolences on Boots' passing. Thank you for adopting an older cat and giving her a life where she felt loved, cared for, and safe. May it comfort you to know that our separation is only temporary and one day you will see your sweet girl again. Blessings, Rose

Marilyn & Bill, I am sorry for the sudden passing of your beloved Boots which must have been a terrible shock for you. As a former parent to many cats I feel for you at this time. Each beautiful pet is an individual, loving us in a special way unique to them. Therefore this love can never be replaced and there is a reason for that. It can never be broken, though the years roll on. Boots is God`s precious gift to you in this life and the next, where she waits for you in His Land of Love and Light that He has prepared for all those who love Him - to be re-united with their pets forever. Boots is well and strong again - free of whatever medical condition that took her. You could not have done anything more than give her the recommended vet. treatment and were in no way negligent or to blame. Grief makes us question if there was more we could have done at such times. God has taken her gently Home. Now you must weep for her healing tears of grief. Her loving spirit remains with you always.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Boots. Please find comfort in knowing that Boots is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. I am sure that Boots and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Marilyn and Bill, I too have suffered the loss of a beloved companion, so I understand how much Boots means to you. You were so lucky to have so many wonderful years together. Now Boots waits for you to sleep at night and dream of him. His love continues to cross the Rainbow bridge and come to you all the time. Just remember that it is never really “Goodbye”, just “Until we’re together again”! And I pray that this thought will give your heart comfort and peace in the days to come when you think of your little Boots …. My pups and I are sending you lots and lots of extra special loving thoughts, prayers and positive energy for strength, courage and patience until you are all together again. We wish you all the wonderful things that life has to offer. Kindest Regards, Pammie, Bob Barker, Vienna & Little Max

Marilyn and Bill- For every joy that passes something beautiful remains; may sweet Boots live forever in your heart(s). I am so deeply sorry for your loss, yet another soul, who enhanced every minute of every single day. To embrace knowing how much you are loved from beyond and always will be shall become a source of comfort in your time of need. I've placed a heavenly scented pot of jasmine to bring you solace.

Marilyn, Bill: I know the pain of losing a beloved pet. I have just lost my baby, a female Beagle named River, last March 21. But do you know? They’re now in paradise, safe and sound, in good health, playing their hearts out. From where they are they can see your heart—how much you loved them. They’re just patiently waiting, just at this side of heaven, for that day when we will rejoin them to cross the Rainbow Bridge together, and our separation will come to an end at last.
