I am sorry to here that Boomer is no longer able to be by your side. Please know you are never alone in something like this as I am now finding out. I just lost my Baby Bee, 2 weeks this Saturday. I hope that your Boomer finds my Bee. Your Boomer looks so much like my dads dog I adopted when my dad passed. I lost my dads dog last year to cancer. Her name is Lillie. She is pictured in one of the pics. that I posted at my Bee's memorial residency. She too had several issues with her eyes. I think I took Lillie and Bee to the vets. more than any dogs. They were both such sweet babies and such a big part of my life as I am sure Boomer was to you. We all need to believe we will all be together some day.

Boomer, I just dropped by to greet you Happy birthday! You're 12 years old today. Here's a b'day cake; drop a slice from the sky to your mom and dad. My River is likewise 12 years old; she turned 12 last May 5. Have you met River yet?

Hello, handsome Boomer D Hill, welcome to sunny Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom and Dad feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom and Dad always, beloved sweet Boomer. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Adam and Karen, Thank you for the opportunity to visit your friend Boomer's memorial page. Please accept my condolences on Boomer's death. I am so fortunate to have seen your loving tribute to your tiny friend who passed away. I loved thinking of him on the mountain, playing, napping and sunning while he waits for you to join him one day. It is said that "blind dogs see with their hearts," and I am sure Boomer knew how much you loved him even if he couldn't always see you clearly. I hope that Boomer stays close to you in your heart, until you meet again. -Megan in PHL, with Dexter "Big Essie" (Bernese mountain dog) and Rinchen (Chow Chow)

Adam & Karen, What a beautiful photo of your little Boomer - your `bringer of joy`. How you must miss this special fur-child who you say can now run freely and see with crystal clarity! From this I assume he (is Boomer a boy?) must have been visually impaired. Most dogs (except greyhounds) have limited eye-sight and rely on a highly developed sense of smell. Now Boomer is in Heaven he can not only smell the squirrels but also see them - and his new body will allow him to run freely without the limitations of ageing which may affect us and our fur-children eventually. And so the time came to say goodbye to Boomer in this life - which is but a stepping stone in our journey through God`s Eternity - stretching before us - an endless existence of fullness of life which our loving Creator has planned for us - and the dear fur-children who are His wonderful gifts to us in this transient life. Boomer is God`s gift to you here on Earth - mirroring just a little of His unconditional Love for us!

So sorry for the loss, of your baby, it is always hard to lose a good friend. May your days of pain and adjustment be short, and your memories of your baby bring you peace and love. No more pain or suffering for our babies, only sunshine and lots of new friends. Soon you will all be together again and going over the rainbow together, which is where your lives’ really begin

Adam and Karen, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet angel Boomer. He is now able to play out in the warm sunshine, and is able to see all the other doggies with such clarity. I hope he meets up with my Murphy so they can run and play together in the warm sunshine.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Boomer. Please find comfort in knowing that Boomer is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. I am sure that Boomer and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan
