Dear Michelle, I am so so sorry for the loss of your adorable Bonnie, she sounds like she was so special and was so loved. Reading your story almost brought me to tears as it reminds me of my Yorkie (Rolo) that I lost a month ago, especially the days leading up to the end and having to make that decision. I hope Rolo and Bonnie meet up at the rainbow bridge and have lots of fun together. He was ADDICTED to chicken jerky as well, his little sniffs when we left it on the table or counter was so precious! I'm sure he would share some with her up there though. Feel free to visit him here: - Rahana <3

Oh my..I am crying for you right now. Such a really beautiful tribute you wrote to Bonnie. She is so precious as are all of your babies. But she looks so precocious and smart. Such a loss is so devastating. I am so so very sorry she had to leave. Our tears honor our babies and they know....they mourn losing us just as we it is important to sing and talk your love to her every day. She needs to know she is still in your heart and that there is always a place for her in your home. I tell my baby that every day. I just lost my baby of 15 years and am numb. The love and joy they give us is so incredibly wonderful and special...I feel so sorry for those who do not know that love.My Cujo Kitty Kat's favorite song was the Bushel and Peck song and You Are My Sunshine so I sing all the time..through the tears. Nothing will replace her but now she is the angel watching over all of you. All she needs is to know you love her. Be well & enjoy your doggies. Just let the tears fall.

Michelle I cried while reading your memories. I can see in your posted pics how precious Bonnie was. Your fight to save her reminds me of my own sweet girl. The vet visits, believing that somehow your fur baby will prevail in the end. Having to accept that the disease is greater than your will is incredibly difficult. Having to let go is so, so hard. After losing my own sweet girl I wanted desperately to have more time with her. In the end, I had to see that having more time wiht her would not have made the eventual loss any less difficult. Our fur babies give us more than we could possibly list. The unconditional love, acceptace, companionship and joy is priceless. You had a very deep bond with Bonnie. Out of love you did everything you could for her. I understand and relate to the devastating feeling of grief. Having lost my own sweet girl on June 15, I still heavily grieve for her. I am sure you will let your memories of Bonnie help comfort you through the grief process.

Dear Michelle, Oh how my heart aches with yours in the loss of Bonnie. Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I am still grieving some over the loss of my doxie last August. I do hope, with time, your sadness will lift and in its place will be those continued joyful memories of Bonnie that will make you smile or laugh again when you think of her. If you just need someone to talk to or put your thoughts down here, please know I am here for you. My email address is Blessings, Dianna

I am so sorry for your loss of Bonnie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Bonnie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Bonnie and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Bonnie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at
