Beautiful Bit I was just visiting some of my babies here at the bridge and came across your residency. What a beautiful story of love your human has written for you here at RB. I have worked in rescue for many years and it never ceases to bring a smile to my heart when I read a story of another one of God's beautiful creatures that have come to know the love and devotion of a human that they all deserve. Kelly may you find peace and comfort in the knowing that your Bit is watching over you from heaven above.

Ah, Lori.I'm so glad you're giving ylurseof permission to step away. You need this. While I'd selfishly like you not to, I'm confident that if and when the time comes for you to return to your Land of Bubbles, people will return in spades. If it makes you feel any better, I think there must be a season of this happening in our group of bloggers. Reading your comments thus far has validated what I was already feeling that many of us are being pulled in too many directions and now it's time to refocus. I love you bunches and am always here for you via email and of course, our beloved Twitter. xoxo

On: 2/13/12's great that Bit found his forever home with you. I also had a cat that I thought it would take forever for him to warm up to us, but he finally did. All you can do is'give him your best and see'if it works. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leating their forever pawprints within us. Be sureto know Bit is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph,Eva and friends while waiting for us'to join them'on the Bridge. I can send you my babies'sites if you wish to visit..take care..

Bit - You have beem a great companion to your family! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let mom and dad know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to join you at the Bridge. To Kelly and family - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Bit. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Dear Kelly, what a wonderful blessing that little Bit came into your life so many years ago and brought such happiness and love. Bit truly is the cutest baby! Now little Bit brings happiness to many new furfriends at the rainbow meadow, two of which are my kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, who were there to welcome little Bit. I am sure our angels kitties have become the best of friends. Our babies know that they will be reunited with their earthly mommies someday. When we cross the rainbow bridge and they come running to greet us, we will be with them forever more. Blessings of healing and peace to you and your family, Kelly. I understand and care. Jane

Kelly & Brian, We are so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose a family member especially when it came as a complete surprise. I'm sure you will find comfort in the last morning you had together. And more importantly in the years of joy you shared. What a gift for Bit that he had another man in the house in the last few years so that he could really flourish!! You're in our thoughts and prayers. Megan, Jeff & Brynn

My Sidney was waiting on the bridge to welcome Bit to her new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Bit the most listen to your heart her love and paw print are there.

Kelly, My sympathies on your loss of Bit. I lost my cat, Chloe a year ago to feline leukemia. She was almost five years old. May your memories of Bit fill your heart with smiles and joy. Bit has a warm and loving home because of you. So many beautiful cats will never know what that is like. Bit, rest well darling and watch over your mommy from above. I know Chloe will watch out for you. Bless all of you.

Hello Kelly, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Bit. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane.

Bit, you are purrfectly gorgeous! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mommy and daddy who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Kelly, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Your cutest little Bit in the world is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at

Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years.
