Hi Beuk I see you've been at the bridge for a time. I know your we're there to greet Raven. I'll bet you run through the fields like the wind. Take a minute to send your family some kisses on the summer breeze. They miss you so much. Keep an eye on Raven and if you run into a little cat with big ears named Finnbar give him a kiss for me. I'm a little lost without him.

I sympathize. While I don't have much opturtonipy to drive over bridges where I live, ever since I got in a bad car accident last May (wasn't my fault, a kid with no license pulled out in front of me) I am a very touchy driver. I get people who honk at me and one time I was waiting to make a left turn, and a car behind me went around me to the left and made the left turn I wanted to make, but going around me was illegal. I don't care how impatient he was, I didn't feel like I could make it safely and so I didn't. I hate being scared behind the wheel

ThayerAve is right on the money.I walk in that intersection all the time and it is unenaasplt. I've had several near-misses with aggressive drivers turning into the crosswalk left-turn arrows and some traffic-calming measures would do wonders here. Glad to hear there's money for that in the plan. If we want a vibrant community, we need to start building landscapes that encourage pedestrians. A skyway looks at first blush like a pedestrian-friendly move, but it only cedes the intersection to automobiles, and that will only lead to more auto traffic. I'm glad the county has foregone the option for now and hope they stick by their decision.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Beuk. Please find comfort in knowing that Beuk is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Beuk and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Beuk, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us. And may you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... May each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this blessed season.... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom)

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

What a pretty doggie :( I am sorry for your loss. I think a dogs death or any pets death is just as horrible as losing a family member. I wish you all the best of luck and strength.

What a special boy your BEUK was. The happiness he brought into your life was a gift. They bring so much joy yet so much heartache when we have to say good-bye to our sweet angels. I can understand your sadness. My Zoe was the world to me. I miss her so much. Inhope that BEUK and Zoe have become freinds and are havibg a good time. I can only hope that someday we are reunited with our babies never to say goobye again. My sincere condolences, Linda

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your beloved Beuk. My eyes are filled with tears in unison with yours, but we can be glad that we had them to love - so we shouldn't mourn too long. I hope the memories you have will bring you comfort and erase the pain in your hearts.

Handsome Beuk, Welcome to Rainbow Bridge. I know you just love it there. Playing all day long, running free, lying in the sun, running thru the creek under the bridge. Playing games, and doing anything your little heart desires. Your Mommy and Daddy miss and love you very much. What a beautiful place they made for you. And such lovely poems, songs and words. Be sure to send signs down to everyone, a butterfly, a soft breeze, and a dream. I will ask my Lilly to find you. She loves all fur babies! Play and run baby boy. You now are Mommy and Daddy’s guardian angel, just as they were your angels while you were here. Dear Frank and Robyn, I am sorry for your loss. I know our babies don’t want us to be sad for them. If you can cherish all the time you had while Beuk was with you, until you meet forever, it makes it somewhat bearable. You have lost a wonderful family member and heaven has gained a lovely new soul. Many prayers to you both. Debbie/Lillysmommy/sonoma/Ca

What a sweet memorial you have written and I know how hard it was for you to do that. Just hang on to all those wonderful memories because they will eventually give you solace. It is amazing how much a part of our lives these babies become and what a hole they leave when they part. May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you always. Blessings................
