To Bear, I know you are settled there at the bridge and all. Take a minute from time to time and send a sign down to your mommy that loves and misses you so much. You will always be loved, missed and never forgotten.

Hello, handsome Bear. We're sorry we've not visited sooner...we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty who plays in golden sunbeams and chases bright rainbows and colorful butterflies with you. Pressy asked her family to visit doggie playmate Bear. She said she gives you special kitty love headbumps and taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mom feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses when gentle breezes blow. Pressy said you send love signs to tell her you're in Paradise meadow watching over her waiting until she comes for you one day to cross Rainbow Bridge to be together forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Mom so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her for she loves you deeply and misses you so. Soar among clouds on silvery angel wings to watch over Mom always, beloved sweet Bear boy. Pressy's Grandpa

Vicky, I am so sorry for the loss of yet another one of your angels. Know that Bear loves you as you love him, and that he is now healthy and able to run free. You gave him a good life, and he appreciates it and loves you for giving him a loving home. Even though he has shed his fur suit and has transitioned over, he is still with you in spirit because the bond you have is strong. I hope he meets up with my Murphy who is also at the RB. He gave me so much love and joy.

Vicki, Welcome to Rainbow Bridge where your beloved Bear may find a resting place not only in your heart but at a memorial site - where you may visit and shed tears for your fur-child - and also give thanks for the 10 years of unconditional love and companionship which were Bear`s love-gift to you. No gender is indicated so I assume Bear is a boy! You will find resolution and peace as you honour his sweet memory in the beauty of RB - a sanctuary for all bereaved parents and their fur children to meet in a special way and where unresolved grief may find its rest. My 3 beloved pigeons came late to RB and for me this was an emotional yet healing stage in my recovery. May you find the same love and compassion as I experienced from a family of fellow parents who have also been through the terrible pain of loss - and empathise with you. Sometimes the passing of a dear fur-friend can hit us harder than the loss of a human. Sadly, this frequently goes unrecognised. We at RB are here for you.

I am so sorry for your loss of Bear. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Bear that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Bear and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Bear continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Bear. Please find comfort in knowing that Bear is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Bear and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

Dear Vicky, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Bear. He was a beautiful Boy and obviously deeply loved. You gave him a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Bear will continually provide you with comfort, he will forever live in your hearts and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. Sending love and light, Nelson

Hi Vicky, What a precious little bundle of love your Bear was. I too have had a thunder-fearing fur-baby, so I know just what you mean. I am confident that the meadows and forests and prairie lands near Rainbrow Bridge are thunder-free zones. (Smile) Thank you for sharing his precious picture. I have always had large dogs, but I have come to learn that small dogs are actually very, very big dogs in disguise. (Smiling again)...the piece of our hearts that they take with them when they leave their physical bodies is just the same, whether they were big or little. If you haven't already, please consider coming to the Monday night Candle-Lighting ceremony. It's at 9:00 pm Eastern-time, and people come from all over; all united in their love of our animals. I will look for you. Good dog, Bear!

Vicky- To know Bear is not cowering and fearful of thunder is relieving, however, the sadness of not cuddling with your faithful friend must be heartbreaking. Please accept my deepest sympathy on the passing of your precious 'baby'who enriched your life and will be forever remembered. I've left a blanket for Bear at Rainbow Bridge--snuggle in peace!

Bear I am sorry for your loss. Vicky loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.
