I’m sitting here on the south coast of England reading your wonderful memorial to Bear. I have been crying for your loss, he was (and still is) loved so very much. It seems to me that sometimes a very special dog comes into our lives and never truly leaves. Sending love to you.

Have to say I agree with you when there is a big celebration on now like Australia Day, ANZAC Day etc we find it very hard to get aronud as I have bone cancer so can't really walk to fast or to far in one go like most people can. I must say though hubby & I went to the AC/DC concert at the old ANZ satidum back in March and the helpers there bent over backwards to make sure we got to were we had to without any problems and kept comming to check to see if I was ok through out the concert. That seems like it was more better ran then the bridge crossing. Sorry to hear your family & you had some many stupid people to put up with.

I know the pain you're feeling since Odie left me due to cancer 3 years ago. I had tears in my eyes while reading your thoughts cause I feel the same way. I didn't have the strength to get another dog. I just knew that this was something that I could never go through again. The pain was too much to handle. But, Odie actually did come back to see me one more time. I'll never forget that and I will tell you about it sometime. Thanks again for sharing with me. Kay

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the most joyous and happiest of memories of your dear sweet baby Bear be the ones that you remember this month of December. May it be those very memories, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face, that surround you this first Holiday Season without your baby. May those memories bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one of the little presents that your furbaby guardian angel would want for you this year.... May God bless you and your entire family this wonderful Holiday Season. With best wishes, Karen....Dusty's mom.... http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hello. My sincere sympathies go out to you and your family for your loss. We just lost our beloved Labrador, Murphy, less than a month ago. I just found this site, and am so touched by the beautiful memorials, yours included. I will be talking to my family about starting our own memorial page. It is a little comforting to know so many loved companions are together on the other side, keeping each other company until we can join them. May God go with you. Cherish all the memories. Bear, be sure to send signs to Keith and Patty that you are OK and happy and playing at the Bridge with the other furbabies! If you liked empty plastic bottles or Kong's you might have played with my Misty. She went to the Bridge 7/11/07. Or maybe Shar. Or one or more of the others I have waiting for me. I bet you gave Keith and Patty a lot of fun and happy memories to carry with them in their hearts until you meet them again at the Bridge. GBU :)

Hello Bear and welcome to RB! Your mom and dad have created a wonderful tribute for you here. I know they miss you so I hope you send them a sign that your journey was made safely and you are still watching over them. Keith & Patty, I am so sorry for your loss of Bear. Know that time will help ease the pain. Those we held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever. May your memories of Bear comfort you until the day you meet again at the Bridge. My deepest sympathies.
