Hello my sweet boy. Mommy came to visit and to tell you I love and miss you so much. You came to me in my sleep and told me that I should go get another pet,so that it could have as good a home as you had. Well my boy....I did. I went to the spca and adopt 2 cats. I couldn't get another dog, because no one could take your place, and I didn't even want to try. But we did in 2 cats named Charlotte and Olive. They're pretty good, just not to fond of each other..lol But for me...it's not like having you here. I still struggle. It's not the same sounds that you made. But I just needed to tell you, that I heard you and followed through with your wishes. I hope I can give them a good home and they are content. I'm trying! But my sweet boy I love you,I miss you and wish you a Happy new year. Please come visit me again soon. I love it!!! Love, Mom. Xoxo

I am so sorry for your loss of Baxter. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Baxter that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Baxter and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Baxter continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. Hi Cindy, I am so sorry for your loss of beautiful Baxter Martin. That was a wonderful gift you gave each other. There is no doubt he knew he was loved. Candy, I cried with you as I read the story of your beloved Baxter`s passing. I know how special this can be for parent and fur-child. I went through this a year ago with my beautiful pet pigeons and will never forget what it was like saying goodbye - till we meet again. Even though you know they are going to a happy place - safe with their Creator - the pain of parting is so very real. It is also a special time, as you found, of closeness for both of you. Something that will, as you say, remain with you always - as will Baxter`s loving spirit. When these precious loved ones pass it is true that they take a part of us with them to Heaven. But they leave the enrichment of their unconditional love - and their sweet memories. I see that Baxter lived with you till he was 14 years and that he had a friend called Tito who was waiting for him when he crossed the Bridge. Thank you for taking him in when he needed a new home. The bonds formed between you in this life endure forever - and ever!

Candy, my heart breaks for you at the loss of your sweet Baxter. I can see how much he meant to you, and know that the feelings were returned. The words you wrote about him really resonated with me because I felt the same way about my beloved Murphy. I hope Murphy and Baxter will meet in the Rainbow Bridge so they can run and play together in the warm sunshine. Know he is happy and pain free. May the loving memories you have of your sweet angel remain with you until you meet again.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Baxter. Please find comfort in knowing that Baxter is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Baxter and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Candy- Before Baxter journeyed to Rainbow Bridge, that special kiss on your nose was his gratitude for providing him with a loving home, endless affection and a life so fulfilling. May that moment be forever cherished as you reflect on a special friend and companion who created a bond that shall remain for an eternity. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and placed a mini-sized pull rope to keep you eternally connected--never let go!

Dear Candy, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Baxter. He was a beautiful boy and obviously deeply loved. You gave him a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Baxter will continually provide you with comfort, He will forever live in your heart and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson
