I am so sorry for the loss of Baxter. I know exactly how you feel because I lost my dog Peanut just over 2 weeks ago. Peanut was also 12 years old. I still cry everyday but I know it will get better with time. I know Baxter and Peanut will make great friends and we will see them again soon. I will keep you in my prayers.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Baxter. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I lost my Rocky in March. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Baxter is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope he's met my boys by now.Finn is a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and Rocky is the sweetest gentle giant. If you would care to visit my guys

Mike, I am sorry to learn of the passing of your `loyal and loving friend`, Baxter: so deeply missed by you. He gave and returned love as only a dog can do: selflessly - unconditionally - enriching your life forever - and now leaving you empty and grieving his loss. Not everyone appreciates how it can hurt so much to lose a beloved pet. I`ve been though this - again 8 months ago - so empathise with what you are going through. I can promise you that the pain gets less and you slowly adjust to what is, after all, a spiritual/emotional amputation: needing the same care as any open wound. Your tears will help you to heal. Let them flow - never mind what others think! You need enough time - not when others say you should `be over it`! You need an understanding friend to talk to. The loss of a pet is just as painful (and valid) as losing a human person. Often it is even more painful. We at Rainbow Bridge understand this and are here to support you. May your heart find peace and healing.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Baxter. Please find comfort in knowing that Baxter is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Baxter and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

Dear Mike, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Baxter. He was a beautiful Boy and obviously deeply loved. You gave him such a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Baxter will continually provide you with comfort, he will forever live in your heart and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. Sending love and light, Nelson

Baxter I am sorry for your loss. Mike loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

Hello, handsome Baxter, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Daddy loves and misses you so...he made you a beautiful place at Rainbows Bridge. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Daddy feels your loving presence with him and Baxter kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until he comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask he not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in his heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Daddy so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him too and are with him. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Daddy always, beloved sweet Baxter. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Baxter, you are truly cherished. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your dad who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Mike, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Baxter is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Baxter will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at

For sweet Baxter, I know that during your lifetime you gave Mike much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at the beautiful residency that Mike created just for you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Baxter I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Mike, I just visited Baxter's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Baxter would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Baxter. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
