I remember a slmiiar occasion one Saturday morning at Herbert Woods yard in the late '80s. I was with my parents as we were waiting for a taxi outside to take us back to the station after a two week stretch on the water. The PA system announced that all boatyard staff were to go to the other side of the bridge. Out of every door, window, boat, etc came people! About 10 mins later a 36ft+ cruiser came through the bridge at speed!- with all the staff on board. Its quite a spectacle.

Hi Ann, somehow your story at least the end parrells our loss of Morgan just a few weeks ago. My beloved girl, spared us having to make the difficult decision of putting her down and passed quietly on her own in the night, she waited until after my birthday. Tumor that had opened, turned into surgery that was no big deal, it peeled right off but then her spleen had twisted and then she was ok and then not ok and then ok...and then she passed what a rollercoaster! She was 13, and up until this past few months where she lost a step here and there she was very healthy so it was a shock. I can completely understand where you are coming from reading your story brought it all back to me. Baron was loved no doubt, what a beautiful life you gave him, Morgan is there with him now at rainbow bridge, she was chow sheppard a very loyal smart girl. I felt better to get her ashes back home. Please know Baron is healthy again and rolling in the grass....waiting for you, as the soul remembers.

Dear Ann and Richard, he's beautiful and precious in every way. What a wonderful blessing that Baron came into your lives, bringing love and companionship every day he was with you. Now sweet Baron has joined Fluffy in that beautiful meadow above us and together they play in a world full of love and fun. My two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Baron to the rainbow meadow and I am sure my kitties have fallen in love with your sweet angel. We will see our furry little loved ones at the rainbow bridge someday. I wish you blessings of healing and peace, dear friends. You were and always will be, a wonderful family for Baron and Fluffy. Please know that I understand and care. Jane

Ann and Richard, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Baron to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside smile. When you miss Baron the most, listen to your heart his love and paw print are there

Baron - How absolutely regal and stately you look! Very handsome! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Ann and Richard know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to join you at the Bridge. To Ann and Richard - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Baron. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Dear Richard and Anne what a lovely story of love friendship and familyis baron dear life shared with you. What a beautiful guy tho he appears to have a bit of a humourous gleam in his eyesore I suspect altho regal he could be fun and silly. What a generous gift a dogs life is to us humans. They fill such a large presence in the fabric of our daily lives. They share our joy add hilarity to our fun and confort our pain. I know this must be a difficult time in your home you may hear his paws clicking on the floor the lapping of water see him around the corner and then realize he has slipped away. You will find him in the summers twilight. The sound of rain on a cloudy day the song of a wipperwill. A rainbow over a garden the laughter of children. He will always be within your past. When you visit that country you will always find him with love glowing in his eyes furiously wagging a grateful tail joyous. You are in my heart prayers and hopes jule

Baron Von Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, you are so handsome! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mom and dad who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Ann and Richard, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Baron is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your hearts until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
