I lost my own Bandit on 2/10/12, he was born April 1998 and was almost 14 when he died. I had to move away from my home as the memories hurt too much. He was my assistance dog and was with me 24/7 for so many years. I have other dogs but like with your Bandit, he was my "soul dog", "heart dog" and the bond stronger than I have ever had with a person or animal. I truly understand your hurting as I still hurt and its been almost 15 months since he transitioned. You are right we will meet our angels again. Sometimes they even come back to us in our lifetime. I'm praying for my angel to come back to me. Thank you for sharing your story, as no one else seems to understand the depth of our bond. You do, I know.

Am so very sorry for the passing of your beloved Bandit. Our hearts go out to you and Smokey. The little guy was filled with so much unconditional love just waiting to be received. Robin, just know that Bandit and your mom are together filling her face with many puppy kisses, running and playing at the Rainbow Bridge. We love you and are ALWAYS there for you! Rest in peace Bandit. You will always be loved and missed forever ❤ Adonna and Bob

Dear Robin, You wrote such a lovely tribute to Bandit and I loved how you said he became like a snake after a bath. I can see it now! You also posted wonderful pics. I am sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. Thank you for the love you gave. It made the world a better place.

Hello Robin, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Bandit. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane.

Robin, he truly is beautiful and precious in every way. What a wonderful blessing that sweet Bandit came into your life many years ago and became such a beloved companion and friend. My kitty, Bubba Lou, the heart light of my life, was also 14 when he left for heaven's most beautiful meadow last year. We must always know that our babies are happy and well, romping in a new world full of love and fun. We will be reunited with them at the rainbow bridge someday. Your memories and love for Bandit brought tears to my eyes but also warmed my heart. Blessings of healing and comfort, dear friend. And blessings to precious Smokey, too. I understand and care. Jane

Hello Sweet Precious Baby - you are so handsome. I know my Gus and Freddie welcomed you with open paws and are playing with you and showing you all around. Take some time out from playing and send your Mommy a sign - she loves you so much and misses you terribly. Hugs my little guy. Robin you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Linda (LK)

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Bandit to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Bandit the most listen to your heart, his love is there.

Robin, I'm sooo sorry, reading your posts breaks my heart. I wish there was something I could say or do to ease your pain. I do believe will we see our fur babies again. I have two waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge, Cheval (a mastiff) and Sophia (rottweiler). I'm so glad your employer is understanding and allows you to bring Smokey to work with you.
