Oh Marlen, I just finished reading about Bailey. That tragedy was so recent too. First I can't put into words how sorry I feel for your two losses especially Bailey who died so violently. May they both rest in peace and enjoy their time at Rainbow Bridge. For whatever it's worth, I cried reading about Bailey. I really don't have any words of comfort for you except I totally understand and feel for your grief as I too lost a special friend Garfield. I don't expect to ever let him go and always will grieve for him. Again Marlen my sincere condolences. Be well

Marlen, Know those special Bailey ears are forever listening to the beat of your heart and for the sound of his name within the wind...He will come running to your side knowing he chose the best Mom ever. Together Max and Bailey are safe, secure and ready for adventures. May each day be a Bailey filled day - and may his love bring warmth and calm to your heart.

Poor little Bailey. He looked like a real little character - very cool in the sunnies! Please know that you were the best Mum to him - you loved him, took care of him, did the best by him. He was your baby and always will be.

Oh my, such a tragedy, especially to lose two special souls like your Max and Bailey so close together. Words cannot express my sadness in your losses. I have two, one small, one large, and they are both so very protective of me and my hubby. I can't understand what that Rot was trying to protect. I do hope you found justice in all this. I believe all dogs are gentle spirits until trained otherwise. Peace and blessings.

I am so sorry for your loss but believe me, those wonderful creations of life and love are why we exist, they remind us of love and how we should live. I truly believe that every life is precious, every life has meaning and every life has a destiny. No matter how big or how small. Animal and human. We all share this world and this life and our souls are connected. Your furry child is still alive but in God's beautiful heaven and the love you share will find it's way to heaven and back. Feel whatever it is you need to feel for as long as you need to. I have many furbabies at the bridge and I still long for them but I know their souls are always with me. Please know that you will see your lil angel again. We are all one big family up there! Big hugs! Please take care! You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Marlen: Nothing can ever prepare us for the unexpected loss and sadness after losing a best friend, a 'life witness'. Bailey filled your heart with strength and resilience before journeying to Rainbow Bridge where all the loves of our lives go, to wait patiently for their humans. Grief is such a personal experience, yet there is so much comfort in knowing that others walk this path too. It is not as lonely, it is never easy, especially since you have experienced a previous and recent loss. "Not the least hard thing to bear when they go from us, these quiet friends, is that they carry away with them so many years of our own lives." John Salswort. Let this be so. You are not alone in your time of need. I've left a teeny tiny pull rope to keep your connection as love does not die. Ever. Never let go!

Bailey I am sorry for your loss. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.
