Hi Roxanne, I was reading about some of the babies that went to Rainbow Bridge several years ago.Ashley sounded wonderful and so pretty. It still amazes me how much joy and happiness these little gifts from God bring us. I lost my Rudy, a Singapura cat, almost 2 months ago. Sometimes I wonder if the tears will ever stop. I have also dreamed of Rudy and yes you want the dream to never end. Ashley you were such a great baby for your Mama and Daddy. It is an honor when we want "another Ashley" dog. It shows how much we love you. I will leave you a special gift. Have fun there, run and play and make lots of friends. Please look for Rudy. I know he would love to be friends and play with you. Love and kisses, Bunny

I am very sorry for your loss, I just lost my cocker spaniel last night, we had to put her down due to kidney failure, and this made me so happy to read! Thank you Roxanne for making me feel better, because your dog sounded amazing, and neither of them will ever be forgotten.

Hello Ashley I was jsut visiting some of my Princess's friends at the bridge and came across you, I just wanted to stop in for a minute to say hello and to tell you and each of you precious souls that you are loved and thought of each and everyday in some very special way no matter how long you have been gone to the bridge.

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened" -Anatole France - I have found such profound truth in that statement.... I believe in my heart, that is why we never forget the joy, the love, the very presence of our babies even after they've gone. You see, the part of us they've awoken simply never again falls asleep inside us! Instead, the cherished memories of their love, their very "presence" in our lives, keeps their flame eternally glowing in our hearts, no matter how little...or how long of a time has gone by since they've left our side.... May Ashley's flame continue to burn brightly and shine eternally in your heart, Roxanne ... With wishes of the warmest and happiest of Holiday seasons this year to your entire family.......... from, Karen (Dusty's mommy)....... http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write or talk on the phone please let me know. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on. Pat Lively
