Ken/Melissa..a great tribute to wonderful furries who are very fortunate to have you as their forever family. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us.Alvin and Tyra are now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Alvin and Tyra. Please find comfort in knowing that Alvin and Tyra are now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Alvin, Tyra, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

Dear Alvin and Tyra, you are truly cherished! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mom and dad who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Ken and Melissa, your world has lost two very special furpersons, and heaven has welcomed home two very special souls. Alvin and Tyra are now your very own angels, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet love continually hug your hearts until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Alvin and Tyra will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at

Dear Ken & Melissa I'm sorry for the losses of Alvin & Tyra. What a beautiful tribute for two perfect friends. I lost my Finnbar in December.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll all be together again just as it should be. Until then Alvin was glad to welcome Tyra to the bridge and they are happy and healthy. There are places to explore and meadows to lie in the sun. They are having a ball with their new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you. I hope they've met my Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat who loves to play. If you would care to visit my Finnbar

Hello ALvin I was just visiting some of my Princess's friends who have been at the bridge for a while and came across you, I just wanted to stop in for a minute to say hello and to tell you and each of you precious souls that you are loved and thought of each and everyday in some very special way no matter how long you have been gone to the bridge.

"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened" -Anatole France - I have found such profound truth in that statement.... I believe in my heart, that is why we never forget the joy, the love, the very presence of our babies even after they've gone. You see, the part of us they've awoken simply never again falls asleep inside us! Instead, the cherished memories of their love, their very "presence" in our lives, keeps their flame eternally glowing in our hearts, no matter how little...or how long of a time has gone by since they've left our side....God Bless you as this month marks the (5) year milestone of Alvin's loss... May your baby's flame continue to burn brightly and shine eternally in your hearts... With wishes of the warmest and happiest of Holiday seasons this year to your entire family.......... from, Karen (Dusty's mommy).......

Alvin - what a great, sweet, lovable companion you were to the family! Send them some kisses from the Rainbow to let them know you are safe, happy, healthy and have met up with a lot of fur friends (doggies too). Let mom and dad know that God has appointed you as their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Ken & Melissa - I send you my deepest regrets over Alvin. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

I hope Alvin is playing with my Callie. Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your furbaby. I had to have my baby put down not too long ago. I believe our babies know we will always carry them in our hearts. ((hugs)) Karen
