"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Athena bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom)

Yes the ability to bring the holy sriipt start with our worship service and its hard to do it if your not called by God. I want to thank all worship leaders, cause without you the pastors ability to bring the holy sriipt is made much more difficult. I have been told that that without a real good worship service the pulpit seems to be more like a pit youare trying to pull yourself out of. So thank you worship leaders and may God bless you all.

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Athena. Please find comfort in knowing that Athena is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Athena, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

I am so sorry for your loss of beautiful Athena. I lost my little boy, Puffy, about a month ago and am still trying to get through the pain as well. Puffy was there to welcome Athena into heaven. I know they are going to be great friends and are looking down on us.

Cheryl, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Athena and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at:

Hello Cheryl, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Athena. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane.

Welcome Athena to the Rainbows Bridge, you are a beautiful baby! I'm sure my Sassy & Frosty was there to greet you, and although they are sweet little kitties they love everyone! They'll help you find your way, and show you the best places to play and chase golden sunbeams. Dear Cheryl, I am deeply sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. It is never easy losing our beloved pets, but this isn't goodbye rather I'll see you again. Athena was a gift from God who has been called home, when your time comes to make that journey she'll be there waiting for you. For now, her memories are forever and will always be shining so brightly! Hugs. If you'd care, please visit my Sassy and Frosty.

Dear Cheryl I'm sorry for the loss of your Athena. What a pretty girl. I lost my Finnbar in December.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. You'll be together again when its time just as it should be. Until then Athena is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. There is so much room to run. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you. I hope she's met my Finn by now. He's a cat, but he's scrappy and can catch. He'd make a good friend. If you would care to visit my Finnbar

Cheryl, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Athena. Athena was sent to you by our Lord the Almighty as a sign of his love for you. These furry packages of love deliver to us such special fellowship, and companionship. There is nothing stronger than the bond that a man or a woman has for their fur-baby. They give us the strength to face the daily human dealings. I lost my Ginger of 17 years, this past fall 2012. My Bentley I lost Father’s Day of 2011. Grieving is a natural response of having to send them on their final journey to eternal happiness. Take care in knowing that your precious Athena is relaxing at one of the meadows that surround the Rainbows Bridge, is well and playing with other fur-babies like my Ginger and Bentley. Athena sends love wishes your way and waits for you to be there with them. You may visit my Ginger and Bentley at

Dear Athena, you are so beautiful! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Cheryl, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Athena is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually hug your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Athena will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at

For sweet Athena, I know that during your lifetime you gave Cheryl much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and at the beautiful residency that Cheryl has created just for you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Athena I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Cheryl, I just visited Athena's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Athena would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Last January I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Athena. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
